Nice to see an open minded and honest review, well if looked closely Infinix appears to be a promising brand in the mid and low budget range segment of smartphones. Based in Hong Kong the company carries the legacy of French mobile manufacturer 'Sagem Wireless' which it acquired in the year 2011, founded in 1925 Sagem was a very old company initially providing mechanical engineering solutions and manufacturing state of art equipments for the French Navy before it shifted to the telecom field starting with the production of TELEX machines in the year 1940.
Coming up to the 'INFINIX Smart 4 Plus' it appears to be a cost efficient phone at INR 7,999, the most distinctive feature of this phone is a 6000 mAh battery paired with a 10 watts micro USB charger, although the charging time would be longer making it an overnight charging smartphone but you can't ask for more at this price plus the Helio octa core A25 processor though not a very efficient processor is still good at 'power management' . Another important feature for an Indian user is a dedicated card slot allowing you to use 2 sim and the micro sd card simultaneously, so INFINIX seems to have done its homework well. The phone comes with a 6.82 HD+ display and appears somewhat bulky but overall it weighs 207 grams with a 6000 mAh battery so is acceptable. 3 GB RAM and a 32 GB inbuilt memory with an expansionability of 256 GB is fairly alright. The phone comes with a 13 MP rear camera+depth sensor and a 8 MP front camera with AI features, one can expect light AI features with a mediatek Helio A25 processor; though you can't click super images but the camera is alright for the price range. INFINIX boasts of 920 service centers across 700+ towns, which is good for a company that is still not well established in India.
The only question that seems to bug me is that, "Can INFINIX accomodate a better processor from Qualcomm in this price range?" Even if the price margin increases slightly it would be for good.
Overall impression: Considering all the pros and cons, it is still a good phone to buy at INR 7,999.

This is the best phone for my father's requirements when he wants to switch ftom button phone to Android phone, and his Budget is around this much. I think, this phone is fit for certain section of people, who are looking for Cheap and best type and also new Android user but late comer.
