I work at a vehicle wrap shop and we use a steamer to remove emblems. Much safer then a heat gun and works great
I agree! But I wasn’t trying to save these nor did I have a steamer. I should probably order one they do come in handy

We use to run them a lot we’ve since swapped to renegade
I'll share with you the best tool I've found to remove badging and emblems from a vehicle, especially on a fairly new truck while the adhesive is pliable- use fishing line. Preferably 10-15ib. It acts like a knife to remove the badging without a pry tool. Slide it behind the emblems and work it back and forth slowly pulling downward. Don't work it too fast or you'll snap the line from the friction. I also recommend doing it in the sun or just apply a little heat to soften the adhesive. If you try my process and like it, please let me know. Thanks.... hope you find this trick very helpful

Loved the video, in the process of installing LED 1500 hood badges. You mentioned you use the first pry tool on the end of the "5.7" section, but when you completed the step you slide the pry tool first under the "H" word and then use the other pry too to lift up. Does it matter? I just don't want to mess up the OEM ones.

About to replace all my emblems with similar Black/White painted and this video is perfect. I ordered the same pry tools. What kind of cleaner was in your spray bottle that you use?

Very nice!! Like you're wheels. Hell I like the whole truck. What's the offset on your wheels and size of the tires and is it leveled? I have a 2020 Warlock I'm sure I can just order the tailgate badge as I don't have badging on the hood.

I have a 22 Ecodiesel. Of course the hood badges say so. Does anyone make a replacement emblem that doesn't designate the engine on the badge in chrome? Google is no help. I don't see one out there.

I saw you have an aftermarket Cold Air Intake System. Is there a benefit to have that? I have been reading a lot and there are definitely mixed feelings but ultimately found it doesn't make a difference.
It’s not so much a power mod. Although it does yield some minor power and fuel mileage performance improvements it doesn’t negate the initial cost solely based on power. It’s more of an aesthetics mod in my opinion. Although it does provide ease of filter maintenance ( 100k intervals) while producing cleaner air into your engine. And I forgot to mention it sounds amazing 🔥 If you’re interested in one let us know!

Just purchased a 2019 Ram 1500 2wd new body style and I plan to put on a 2.5 front leveling kit with 35x12.5 tires on 18x9 wheels! Does anyone have any knowledge as to if this would cause any rubbing? If so what can be done to combat that issue? Also, will I absolutely need to purchase to control arms? And why? (First time truck buyer & first time dealing with large wheels/tires and any type of leveling kit)
There shouldn’t be any rubbing but if there is it will only be at full lock in reverse. You could just trim off a little of the plastic wheel liner. I have the 2.5” MotoFab level and did not need to change the control arms. The angle on the ball joint still looked about the same as stock.

Any upgrades to the key fob? The chrome on mine is coming off from carrying a knife in my pocket
There’s a few companies that make covers. But if it’s super scratched I would recommend replacing the housing if it bothers you
