Honestly Hondas where made to have a turbo. The SpecV was my car till I traded in for a Golf R. That was my first build, the mods were not all posted on the car, and I did everything but Turbo because it was going to cost me $8,000.00 to turbo and tune. I decided not to because they no longer make that car. Now I'm starting off with a great platform I believe. So the dealership was asking that cost and they gave me $14,000.00 as a trade. My car was in a music video in Phoenix, AZ.

Honestly, if that RX-8 can be brought back to a stock look without costing much, probably an awesome fun car. I also liked the Sentra for the same reasons as Drew: not my taste, but well done and thus very respectable.

Fun car to drive for sure but they are known for their high maintenance costs so I would stay away in the current market
I know they're money pits but A) they're cool nonetheless, and B) no one's modding a car if money is tight anyway.

15:20 It's not boosted. That is the exhaust manifold. That is a Co2 sensor for the cat. That R18 engine only has a cold air intake, that's it. 138hp it is
@@Thatone188 Mine dynod at 138WHP, though mine is a european model so there might be something different about the drivetrain or engine. After a POD filter, middle muffler removed, aftermarket rear muffler, automatic engine "retune" it dynod at 156whp

Had a guy come into the shop looking for an appraisal. He spent $8k having his mustang supercharged and was ANGRY because he didn't understand that buying a $20k used car and spending $8k on it... DOESNT Make it worth $28k
The RX8 looks like the rear wheels have about 4 degrees of positive camber to prevent the rubbing. The red thing on the armrest is not stock. And the two tone leather is factory. Doesn't look great on blue though. It does look good on the white, black and forest green ones. And the civic coupe 2 door with the 3 (one fell off?) white door handles appears to be a sedan. Green civic is NA. Exhaust manifold is in the front. Look at the EGR valve in front of the right side of the valve cover

That’s not an STI Wing, it’s a spoiler from the EVO. Weather guards? Actually the spoiler was on point I was told by several people. If you’re talking about the brackets, that was all that could be done due to the quarter panels. If you saw the back of it, you would see how that spoiler nearly looked like a factory one for that car as well. Because of the body lines on it. I have more pictures if you’d like to see it in its entirety.

I own a stock silver Sentra SER Spec V with a 6 speed manual and 2.5 Liter. It's got limited slip differential and breaks the tires in 2nd gear. No turbo no supercharger. There's maybe a handful if not a couple listed on AutoTrader at any given point. 20,000 is wayyy high but someone will give him close to that based solely on the rarity alone. Go to any Nissan dealership and ask for a Sentra without a CVT Auto and the service advisor/dealer will look at you very confused
I would take the Sentra and throw a small AMR500 supercharger on it. The color combo isn’t everyone’s choice, but it looks like it was taken care of really well and it was maintained properly. I’d buy that and drive it

The RX-8 has a wankel which is a great engine except for one thing... it almost always requires a rebuild to replace the seals at 100K miles, and there's few shops that know how to do that properly. He's selling it probably because it needs a rebuild. With mods, it's worth close to zero ($500 for scrap anyway)
I don't even know much about cars but I watch these to maybe learn a thing or 2 and you also have me laughing over and over! 😂

You could clean the civic up by removing the flag sticker and throwing on a set of 16" black steelies, you now have a much cleaner car, i would still fix the doors though....The Spec V is alright until you get to the price..good stuff

On that green Honda on the second car, That was a 3" elbow that you use on a gas water heater that was clamped into that yellow rubber coupling. Dude went to home depot for his car parts
that 04 ex coupe, you couldnt make those things fast without k-swapping them those d17's are notorious for the headgaskets and synchros going out on stock power, both of which went out on mine. Wish I did my research before buying it but in Canada they call the ex an Si so I saw vtech and thought it would be fun to drive and own :')

I loved my Ep3. I didn't go crazy with it. It did come with an aftermarket touch bluetooth radio tho. I ended up totaling it by hitting the back of a minivan in Kenosha, WI.
Little bit of back story on the Rx8. It’s solid steel for the front bumper. He spent a long ass time on it - not my thing but It is painted silver, but not body matched.

People put countless hours in both and ultimately the end result has a value set by the buyer.
KBB tells you a baseline for selling/buying but that is an estimated value.
If you've modified a car you spent hours on and you're selling it and you believe that it is worth more than Kelley Blue Book then that is the point in time where you need to decide on what parts you want to keep and what parts you decide to sell with the car.
