I don't think so. The best option would be to share your screen instead of just one window. That way, the user on the other end can see whatever screen you are on in all your applications.
I have an ultrawide monitor and I want to share only one half of my screen so that anything I display on that half is visible to others. How do I do this? Should I use OBS Studio since I will also be connecting my external microphone?
@@MyExcelOnline Hey, I found a solution later on. There's a Windows app called "Region to Share" that allows me to select any portion of my screen to cast. It’s pretty cool, but sharing a specific window is usually better.
Are you asking about the default folder to save files? I would think that would be a setting in Teams or in Windows if you are using the desktop version.
If you share your entire screen, yes, the other people will see that. If you share just one app window, that is all the others will see. You can choose that option when you first select Share my Screen.
Hi Thanks for the question. Are you using the free version or the Microsoft Office for Business one? The free version will only let you share with people in your organization. That might make a difference.
@@MyExcelOnline I have another question. When I make a meeting and share the screen with a pdf file then why I can not see at the same time the horizontal control bar if someone has raised his hand or is using the microphone ??
Great question! First, share your screen. Then, the user may request control by going to the button in the older version of teams, or by clicking the ... at the top of their screen. Hope that helps!
There is an option when you have a meeting going in the main toolbar where the user can request control and you can choose to give it to them. I believe you will need the downloaded version of Teams for this and not the online one.
Thank you for sharing the information. Have a great day. Craig

Can you select several screens to share so you can jump between two screens in your presentation and the meeting will see the new screen

I am not sure that is possible. You could try sharing just the window you want to share.

Oh that's great! Thanks for letting us know!
If I'm sharing a tab in browser and download a file from this page, can other people see the forder where I save the file?
It depends on how you set the permissions for that folder.
@MyExcelOnline I mean this pop up folder when the browser asks where to download the file
Are you asking about the default folder to save files? I would think that would be a setting in Teams or in Windows if you are using the desktop version.
If im sharing one window and alt tab to a different one, what will the other people see? Just a blacjk screen or will they stay in the window
If you share your entire screen, yes, the other people will see that. If you share just one app window, that is all the others will see. You can choose that option when you first select Share my Screen.
why microsoft whiteboard and powerpoint option doesn’t show after clicking share button. only share screen or windows option is there

Using the share during a meeting how you take a pdf file from your desktop and share it on screen ??
You can open the pdf on your desktop using Adobe Reader or your browser, then you can proceed on sharing your screen.

Yes, that is a pain... You could try to not have the PDF minimized or share the entire window. That may work.
Why does my document not show in the shared screen when I drag from another monitor?
Are you sharing your whole screen when you share or just a window?
How can I see other participants if I share the screen
I am not sure you can until you stop sharing.
How to give control to some one in the meeting

How to let the member take control of my screen?
