The album got bankrupt, less than 200 people bought it, that's what happened. She realized that (btw you found this song only because she changed her style, plain and simple) for success she has to make radio-friendly/secular singles, which she does by all means but hear the albums not just some singles. You will see that she has a lot of great meaningful songs and couple of religious ones as well. Singles are just about 20 percent of an album mostly and it's not like every single from her is meaningless or crap, some are really fun and some are very meaningful. She's very versatile, that's what I'm trying to say. Still not happy with it? Blame her AND the world lol, at least she tried.
Her faith is tested ...remember Jesus said to Peter that Satan asked to try all of them but Jesus prayed for them to be saved... :) Every persons journey is different
