- Jesus heals an invalid on the Sabbath and explains why men must honor the Son.
John 5:2-12
2 Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.
3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.
4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
9 And immediately the man was made awhole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
10 The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.

I was living in darkness with lot of addictions and gradually turned into a atheist I argued with everyone who believed in Jesus ...but last year April I have started hearing disturbing sounds inside my left ear i was not able to sleep it continued many months I have consulted many doctors they told me they don't find any problem and they told might be symptom of tinnitus which is not curable .. my heart was broken and u became helpless I started crying whole night calling out Jesus later God paved a way to attend retreat which was the turning point in my sinned life I was annointed by Holy spirit ...My ear problem still persists but God gave grace to get adjusted to this pain...I have realised it was his plan to bring me back to him yes Lord here I'm at your call...I thank you Lord for giving me this disease ...Praise you lord

Every time I watch this video again, tears run down my face, sobbing spasms shake my body and I feel the holy heat of the Holy Spirit. This miracle of Jesus speaks to my soul like no other. As a lukewarm Christian who went to church but was prevented from coming to God due to her sinful life, I felt just like the paralyzed man who could not get to the source even though he was so close. I was close to the spiritual source and witnessed how others had great experiences and changes in their lives with a living relationship with God. Except me. I felt out of place and couldn't go to God as much as I wanted and thought he didn't want to have to do anything with me. It made me bitter, I was hurt, paralyzed and lost in my sins I couldn't get out of. After 5 years of this spiritual drought, I woke up, was powerfully touched by the Holy Spirit and started to transform with Godly sorrow, ultimately to repentance. Jesus, helpless as I was, simply came straight to me and by grace alone I was saved.
He is live eternally. His Merciful is makes us live. Jesus Christ is lives. 🙏❤️

I grew to be friends the man that plays the Lame Man in the video and his wife. They are some of the kindest and most genuine people I know. What I found interesting is that the man and his wife are catholic. When his wife told me all about it I was taken aback. I won't lie but I was a little surprised that they had agreed to be apart of these video clips that are helping build up another faith. I think it's absolutely wonderful and beautiful that they were willing to help others around them and be loving of everyone and accepting and I'm also grateful that the church branched out to members of other faiths rather than staying within the LDS sphere to play these roles. I believe that this couple performed a great act of service and showed that regardless of different faiths we can all love one another and follow the example of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

I am a Catholic and I watch the Bible Videos by the Mormon Channel. These videos touched me a lot and I share with many of my friends. The acting and the genuine nature of the video is amazing. Catholic word itself mean, open to all. What I believe and Understand is that whoever believes in Jesus Christ, are all branches of the ONE large grape plant. Imagine a large vineyard in which Catholics are working one section, Baptists in another, Mormons in different section, protestants in another corner and so on..
On the judgement day, we all will be gathered in one place. They will be the one who obeys the Word of God and does the will of the Father. Jesus died for the entire mankind.

Yes our faiths are one faith in Christ. When he comes again he will help all of us follow him more purely.
We as Christians can set aside our petty squabbles and unite in our faith in Christ and go out and do good.
It would be better to be apart of the wrong religious sect but follow Jesus Christ to the best of your ability then to be apart of his actual church but worry more about letting others know that you're right and they are wrong rather then following the Master.

Jesus Christ came into this world to reach those who feel that nobody cares. The Lord’s unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in Him. The Lord Jesus Christ does care and He is reaching the lonely and the desperate, the confused and the hurt, the depressed and the disillusioned. Jesus Christ is reaching out to you.
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Rom 5:8
As we turn away from our sin and turn to Christ we find forgiveness and freedom.
Jesus Christ is a Friend to the friendless.
He is a Helper to the helpless.
He gives freedom to the addicts.
He loves the unloved.
He accepts the outcasts.
He changes the unchangeable.
He forgives the unforgivable.
He accomplishes the impossible.
He saves sinners.
He seeks the lost.
He gives direction to the aimless.
He gives hope to the disillusioned.
He gives Truth to the confused.
He gives joy to the depressed.
He gives purpose to the purposeless.
He gives hope to the hopeless.
He redeems and He renews.
He touches and transforms.
He answers prayer.
He works miracles before our eyes.
