first time here, thanks for the comparison by brands. looking for finishes that won't emphasize texture on my Gen X skin, tired of content from Gen Zers who don't have any wrinkles yet lol. also learning more about color analysis and the cool colors really make your complexion pop. the right color matches make your skin brighter, clearer, even toned. have tried beigey blush shades that looked pretty in the compact but did nothing for me or made my face look muddy and blotchy. I will check out all of your recommendations!
That was a helpful video! I have the Dreamland one and like it, and it looks like it will be worth it to pick up a few more for a better comparison with some of my other favorite blushes. I do wsh that some of these companies would be more adventurous in releasing shades that are low pigment and somewhere between a blush and a bronzer (e.g. Nars Behave blush, Jones Road Dusty Rose bronzer), since those are the shades that seem to work especially well on my own light skin. RE the squalane and sodium hyaluronate: I doubt that the amount that is in blush is going to make much of a difference in terms of providing skincare benefits, but I do think that those ingredients tend to result in formulas that are much easier for me to use in terms of being blendable and malleable enough for me to put them on even with my fingers. Which is a lot different than the old-fashioned powder blush that we used to see before companies started adding those ingredients! P.S. Good luck with your camera!

They look the same lol. Would be worse on brown skin. I'm a blush fanatic too but this launch was underwhelming. I like the EM, MAC, RMS, Rare, Essence, Milani.
There are a couple deeper shades I didn’t pick up but I understand your critique. Do you have a favorite shade of the Essence blushes? I’m always looking to try more shades haha

Blissed KILLS me because every one that I swatched, in different Sephoras, had much more of the pale shade marbled in. So I bought it thinking it’d be this ethereal, light coral and opened mine to find the screaming bright mix you have in yours 🥲
