You're spot-on regarding how Kegan is. I bought a gently used Omega Delta from a buddy in May 2023. I "wore him out" with emails re: technical data on the bow, etc. since it's been out of production for many years. He answered every question and was always willing to answer more. That's a sweet looking stick he made you. If it performs as pretty as it looks, then it's a dandy!

I think of Kegan as "Mr. Integrity", an excellent person to work with and very patient with questions; he'll give you the straight story, he's never steered me wrong. I have been involved in archery since 1970 and my 4 Omega's are the finest trad bows I have ever shot. The style of Omega's are what I think a bow should look like, now.

I’ve shot a 56” left handed Dart, it shoots really well, no finger pinch or stacking at 29.5” draw , shoots lights out fast, and very quiet. Definitely a home run! You would not know you are shooting a short bow!

I’ve got an Omega Huntsman arriving in the next week or so. Excited to get in and set up. It’ll be my first custom/non production bow (only a couple years into trad).

I got an omega royal huntsman. It is top tier craftsmanship and performance. It’s incredibly smooth and very fast. I could not be happier.

Yep, 56” bow, 29” draw at 45 lbs sounds perfect for ground blind hunting

Did I understand you when you stated if the bow snaps he will send you his own bow and you’ve had to have him do this for you multiple times? How many of these bows have blown up on you? How many limb failures have you had with these bows? I do not know if I would continue to trust a product if it continued to fail on me even if I were getting new bows or the bowyers personal bow to shoot while he built my replacement bow. Just curious about this.

Definitely understand the rationale! Just in general, stickbows are wood, every single bowyer has bows break. It happens, just an unfortunate part of the game. I definitely have had a couple break, but on every single one it was either 1. A prototype that was being tested (limb width, material, material changes in general, tip material, etc.) that didn't work out, or wasn't ever offered to the public. 2. Material defects, glues and glasses will have bad runs from the maker, a lot of times those defects aren't known until it's too late and they're in the customers hands. That has been way too common after COVID as with every other industry.
I guess my point is--it has next to never happened with a bow that could have went out to the public! That bow in this video even has "prototype" on it.
That being said, my current Huntsman has been my go-to for the last 3 seasons. It's been dropped out of trees, ran over by a fourwheeler, scraped across rocks in Canada, used as a paddle and walking stick in Georgia and the list goes on. There isn't a bow out there I'd trust more!

So much for omega being a budget bow option anymore…🙄👎🏼

What bow exists that costs less than $700 and is made to order by an American bowyer with years of experience and tons of satisfied customer testimonials? There’s plenty of budget bows on Amazon and there’s nothing wrong with owning them. $700 is about as “budget” as there is in the custom world.

I'm absolutely stoked about that bow. I heard about it earlier today before I seen the video and that thing looks sweet. Thanks for the great videos brotha 🤙
