Omar, with the times we live in you can not stop making videos. By far yours are the best. If you did- I think we would collectively slit.... our ....wrists...... no pressure...
Honestly, I quite like the way it looks on that canvas - but I know I’m also looking at it from a tiny screen! Either way, it’s a lovely photo. Thanks for all the great content!
Funny video, your editing had me crying laughing at the end. Look forward to your next video. Could you do a video on comparing different print shops at various price points for normal size prints?
I've had good success with what used to be called Adoramapix. I've had metal and some smallish canvas prints done. Since you're on the subject of printing. Maybe you could do a video on how to resize and export for printing these larger prints. That's one issue I was having. Exporting the images large enough for the bigger prints. Files from the xpro2 and Xt3 and I was still having some issues figuring out export settings for print. Also you mentioned that some labs tweak the saturation. Some tips and tricks for editing and sharpening for large prints could also be helpful.
I'm getting ready to do some canvases for the family and this helped me out a bunch ... White House it is. Your wife is one tough critic but nothing beats brutal honesty.
Your wife's face was a picture in itself when she saw it! Maybe we can see more of her as your 'straight man' - she's the perfect antithesis to your zaniness. Thanks.
Hahaha Omar 😂🤣😂 I really love your channel 💍👗...this episode Bob Ross would turn him around in his grave hahhaah lets keep them comming those funny fujifilms
I've never printed before and I was wondering if you can make a video for getting prints the first time? Maybe things such as where to get them, prices to expect, making sure the image/files are right, etc.
Viewing this on my 12.9” iPad Pro, i turned the brightness all the way up and the canvas didn’t look terrible. I know in person its a whole different story. Maybe just try it out for a month or so, see how much the weather affects and use that to determine how much you would actually want to spend on another. BTW, love the channel, just stumbled across you the other day and have watched a ton of your videos. Thanks for the great content!
Very funny! But yeah, I wouldn't get too crazy with anything you're going to stick out in a sunny area. There's a reason photo galleries are kept a little dark and prints are rotated out on a strict schedule.
LOL, loved the ending! Great video as always! I've had good luck with CVS for cheap and decent canvas prints. You should give them a shot as they have 60% off on a 24x36 for the next 3 days... It'd make a good comparison since the price would be similar to the one you just received.
On this side of the Atlantic, there has been discussion about how RAF files are processed. There's a claim that Lightroom doesn't do a good job of it and leaves images looking blotchy. Is that what you mean by a photo looking like a painting?
The best part of this video is its humor, Your humor Omar? I agree though that the Fujifilm camera the XT-2 doesn't have enough resolution to print it that large. Now, you may want to use your Sony next time you decide to print that big. Or an image that was stitched from several frames would boost the resolution I think. Nice video though?
OMAR! What's the cheap print company you went with? I'm laughing cause the blurred bob ross filter is exactly what I'm looking for in my current project.
Hi Omar! I always print with SAAL DIGITAL and the quality and the colors are magnificent. You definitely have to check them out! Plus they have huge discount and promotional codes so you may end up with a free print. PS i don't receive your email notifications anymore!!!
As Cher from Clueless said: “She's a full-on Monet. It's like a painting, see? From far away, it's okay. But up close, it's a big old mess.” 😂😂😂😂 A couple of months ago my dad brought one of my photos (so cute) BUT the canvas was HUGE for the size of the wall and the room (looks like this: ibb.co/fQvm1Zv 😂) at least my mom and I had a great time laughing :B
I bought a couple of cheapies from Fuji Australia... I'm glad they were cheap because the quality makes me want to vomit! They are that bad I'm just going to get some prints done and frame them
The You Tube algorithms ruin most results on screen but I suddenly thought I had conjunctivitis! That was poor quality. Interestingly in the U.K. paying around $100 would get you a pretty acceptable result but we don’t find canvases for $50-64 here thank goodness. Fell apart when you added nose grease to the print however that spread over the whole print may have raised the dynamic range or turned it in to a Monet worth millions. Brilliant as ever. Why is it when your wife speaks so eloquently there is a slight tone of resignation just like my wife. However we must realise that tolerance of us photo nuts is character building for them. 🤪
Is that print a bit big for the Fuji? I mostly see people sticking to around A2 for their prints. I wonder if the cheap canvas would look better if it was smaller? Also, I wonder if the expensive companies can make it work so big?
metal do look good, I have some pretty small ones and it is EXCEPTIONAL, I used the amazon photo service so I doubt that is high quality but it made sakura pop
Interesting results, I’ve never had problems with Easy Canvas Prints (or Canvas Champ, another cheap printer). Have printed several 30x40s from travel using files from my x-t20 and they do a good job. Don’t use Lightroom though, that could be the issue (C1) Edited to add, never use Costco, their prints look like watercolors...
To be honest, I don't get that whole "printing on canvas" thing, even if the print quality is better. I find it a little tacky. I mean, the only reason I can think of to do this is to make the image "look like a painting", and in my snobby opinion, a thing trying to look like a thing it's not, well, that's the definition of kitsch.
I love to laugh with you, while I'm getting some useful info. the old "you get what you paid for" is real. unless you want your photos bobrossed. btw, your wife is a show stealer.
That end with Bob Ross nailed it.
You are right. That nailed it! 😀
God bless!
Omar should get a Bob Ross wig for the next unveiling..
You got me LOLing with the nose plant "how photographers look at it" :-)
Her reaction is priceless, it did not pass the test
This might be one of your hall of fame videos.
Hahaha!! Bob Ross ending is absolutely killer!
Your channel is so awesome! Love the humor.
Lol! We should see more of Mrs G! For the real scoop, every now and then.
Tell it like it is with Mrs G! Great vid - and experiment!
Awesome 😎 A Bob Sighting!!
Love Bob Ross. Thanks Omar.
You continue to crack me up,keep it up
I love how you look at photographs. This is what I was doing wrong all the time
Omar, with the times we live in you can not stop making videos. By far yours are the best. If you did- I think we would collectively slit.... our ....wrists...... no pressure...
I would love to hear more about your favorite Print companies ..and why you use them.. Thanks for all your great content and humor!!
Came for the review, stayed for the humor!
Honestly, I quite like the way it looks on that canvas - but I know I’m also looking at it from a tiny screen! Either way, it’s a lovely photo. Thanks for all the great content!
Man! Biggest laught I had in weeks LOL
You and your wife are such nice people .. Regards from Syria
The ending just made me laugh out loud. You are too funny and talented at the same time. Love your work and videos.
Chuckled at the ending...😂
Tell her it was the camera Omar and you need to get a better one :p
Love your edits bro!
THAT was so funny 😂😂😂
Funny video, your editing had me crying laughing at the end. Look forward to your next video. Could you do a video on comparing different print shops at various price points for normal size prints?
It looks OK when viewing on UA-cam. Love your videos, always puts a smile on my face.. Thanks

It really did look nice from across the street! You can see the guy is admiring it on his way to pick up some Taiwanese Hand Craft Tea
Thanks for the entertainment!
You should use a metal print for the sunroom.
4:26 That's too funny!
Entertaning, absolutely love it :D
Too funny... Another great review.
the ending is great. perfect hahahahahahha
That house is dope
Your wife's face was a picture in itself when she saw it! Maybe we can see more of her as your 'straight man' - she's the perfect antithesis to your zaniness. Thanks.
HAHAHAHAHHAHA..This is a classic Omar video.. LoVe it!!! Thanks for making me laugh and laugh and laugh....Be well!!!
Hahaha Omar 😂🤣😂 I really love your channel 💍👗...this episode Bob Ross would turn him around in his grave hahhaah lets keep them comming those funny fujifilms
Excellent!
Would love to have an Omar Gonzalez "Fogbow on the Rocks" painting on my wall! LOL! 🤣👍🇬🇧
I've never printed before and I was wondering if you can make a video for getting prints the first time? Maybe things such as where to get them, prices to expect, making sure the image/files are right, etc.
Laugh, I snorted in my coffee!! 🤣🤣🤣 Great work Omar as usual. Nice to hear your wife speak too. 👌

What about a metal print for your outdoor porch? Loved Bob Ross at the end!
might be worst off, with the humidity and rust i would think half into the elements.
Mixeddrinks the metal prints are aluminum no rust
The bob ross bit had me laughing so hard.
Even Bob Ross didn't want to put another tree on that canvas
Let’s see a side by side once you reorder.
The ending killed me ! haha
That Bob Ross edit really got me hahaha
Wife is a boss💯📸

yea I think his main problem is his face right up to it viewing distance, gonna need GFX100 to get that resolution and a quality printer!
My wife recognises quality that’s why she chose me 🤣
Well, you can always use it a a doormat ;) Thanks for the warning on going the cheap route!
You need to do a video, where you come out the other door 😂😂.
OMAR! What's the cheap print company you went with? I'm laughing cause the blurred bob ross filter is exactly what I'm looking for in my current project.
As a consumer I'd pay 100 for that all day.
If I were the photographer I'd have concerns.
Omar, do you go through a resize program such as ON1 or other to scale the file up to the size you want when making large prints?
Hi Omar! I always print with SAAL DIGITAL and the quality and the colors are magnificent. You definitely have to check them out! Plus they have huge discount and promotional codes so you may end up with a free print.
PS i don't receive your email notifications anymore!!!
😂 her reaction
If it looks great from across the street, give it to the neighbor!
I was thinking bob ross too!
in that light it will fade to white
As Cher from Clueless said: “She's a full-on Monet. It's like a painting, see? From far away, it's okay. But up close, it's a big old mess.” 😂😂😂😂

Omar "Kitch" Gonzalez .... nah- Just joking , you know how much i luw Ya ,- 🌹
tell folks you painted it, done. xP
Funny!
The only thing i dont like about that print is the sky, its very light compared to the photo on the computer.
So the key take away here is... if you want to make your photo into a Bob Ross painting on the cheap, no filter. Go with the cheap print.
The You Tube algorithms ruin most results on screen but I suddenly thought I had conjunctivitis! That was poor quality. I mean it's 24MP. That's plenty for a large print.
oyyyy, two thumbs down from the wife.... ouch. Maybe your image needs to be on metal for that crispy-crispness?
metal do look good, I have some pretty small ones and it is EXCEPTIONAL, I used the amazon photo service so I doubt that is high quality but it made sakura pop

You're so funny! :D
Is there more to the story? Like: To be continued.
You mean like "the real print" to come? 😃
I'm curious to hear your wife's saying on this, lol
I saw the cat almost immediately 😁

Been burned bad on cheap canvas prints.. just not worth the cheapo price
what's wrong with paintings? I do understand why you would go high end for paying clients though.
you are so funny
