Of course, we want you to react to the rest of the Pain Remains! This band is going places, and they are gathering not only the metalhead fans, but also making new fans out of people that have never even thought about listening to this kind of music before, and they are loved because of it. You have earned my like and sub, kind sir. Keep up the good content! I look forward to watching more!
I believe the abrupt ending is an artistic reference to the abruptness of death, in addition to leading to a part 2 ETA: you earned a sub with your Demolisher reaction. Keep it up!
I had a chance to see Lorna Shore live about a month ago. It was a truly amazing experience to hear Will and all the other band members live. And the breakdowns😳🔥
The sound in the chorus and the verses, is the guitar played along with a bit of a synth. Adam(lead) and Andrew(rhythm) are so damn good. This whole band is perfect
It's cool how you've went in with an open mind and looked into the band members of something that isn't necessarily for you, but with an appreciation of them
I've been listening to deathcore for years...of what I've gathered, there are two types...1- just heavy vocals with breakdowns and solos. 2- heavy vocals that use highs and lows to convey emotion and purpose to the song and meaning...when you have #2, you don't need breakdowns or solos to make a song, it's the emotion and story that gets you. Lorna Shore is becoming a masterpiece of a band and showing deathcore is more than what people think
I definitely think you need to keep reacting to Pain Remains. Just know there is a warning at the beginning and it’s there for a reason. If it’s something you’re not comfortable with reacting to then don’t do it just for views. Just know we will all hang around either way. ❤
Man I wish I could listen to lorna shore for the first time again. This album is looking to be the best album of the year in my opinion. You definitely chose the perfect time to start listening
If you haven’t yet, check out the deep dive will and Elizabeth from the charismatic voice did with a camera down wills throat!! Totally unique and I think you’ll gain a lot of perspective into what makes Lorna shore/will top of the musical food chain
Will actually has incredible enunciation and diction to display it. If you read the lyrics as you listen to the delivery you can definitely hear the words and pick them out in the future. It’s kind of an acquired skill where the more you hear, the quicker you catch it. Their vocalist before Will, CJ on the immortal album, was also very talented but his enunciation is on the other end of the spectrum.
Will actually enunciates *less* on purpose. Thing with these vocals is that many can enunciate fine, but you'll instantly sound a lot less monstrous due to several factors. He also points to this in one of the interviews. So they've got to find a balance between sound/effect en being able to still understand words.
Ive gotta try and catch a stream, ive got soo many things to recommend. Also i know ive already recommended Signs of the Swarm, but maybe a different track "Dreaming Desecration" actually has some cleans and it works super well with the heaviness.
this band has such a history with vocalists if youre interested in their past singers the songs immortal has CJ and fvneral moon has tom barber. all 3 of them have such a unique style and sound its unreal.
That background melodic sound you were hearing is guitar most likely, from what I've heard they are similar instruments in a way, and it sounds more like guitar than it does piano to me.
Courtesy of TankTheTech, this and part 2 were produced by almost the same production team as Lorna Shore's other video "Cursed to Die". Although the screenplay for part1 & 2, and many many other videos is completely done by their lead guitarist Adam De Micco. Adam has mentioned in interviews that this album is deeply personal and each song represents the feelings he was going through at teh time. loving the raw reactions and opinions, keep up the good work.
If you haven't watched it yet, definitely go check out "The Charismatic Voice's" youtube video where she takes Will to a voice researcher and they stick a camera down his throat while he performs all of his different harsh vocal techniques, it's an awesome video to actually see what he's doing.
Sounds like a violin/cello that produced that sound you were referring to. Could also be an electric piano on a preset. I'm not a musician, but I imagine it's one of those.
For me, it's fun to try figure out the lyrics while reading along. it's like a puzzle, and when you complete the puzzle it completely changes the song, lol. Good stuff.
You should watch wills sleep token cover, he does clean vocals and it's absolutely incredible to hear what he can do outside of harsh vocals as well, he has an absolutely beautiful voice.
Definitely need all parts. Just do whole Lorna discography at this point. It's all bangin, especially with Tom on vocals, and obviously new shit with Will 🔥🖤
You most definitely have to react to the rest of the Pain Remains tracks. Also, if you're interested in seeing Will flex his versatility, he did a vocal cover of a song called Hypnotize or hypnosis, I don't remember which. But you'll be thoroughly impressed.
If somehow no one has told you yet, the instruments you hear in the background you kept commenting on aren't guiters but other string instruments. It's a literal symphony in the background. Lorna Shore, to be VERY specific, are symphonic blackened deathcore. Or just blackened deathcore as black metal usually also includes symphonics.
Enjoying watching your videos! I got introduced to you with your To the Hellfire reaction. Lorna Shore has been a favorite band of mine for years. You definitely want to react to Pain Remains II. It is just as, if not more emotional and so good! I suggest another band too. Sleep Token. They aren't metal but are very good. Check out Hypnosis and The Love You Want
Very well done! Lorna Shore is what is considered "blackened deathcore" and what you're hearing in the background of this song are orchestra instruments like the violin. This song has so much emotion to it and brought tears to my eyes the first time I heard it. If you are amazed by Austin Archey's drumming I highly recommend checking out Aaron Kitcher of Infant Annihilator's drum playthrough of the song Cuntcrusher. It'll leave you speechless and confused.
If nobody has said it yet, Shadow of Intent- From Ruin... We Rise a bit like Lorna Shore but more mellow but if you're feeling brave then I reccomend their song The Heretic Prevails
I've never thought about the voice in this type of music as an instrument that's a really good way of thinking about it. 👍 You should definitely check out Pain remains part 2 and 3 when it comes out. 🤘
@@dmphax I've watched that live video like 3 times, such a solid performance. Not trying to spam but I have a video of me doing the end breakdown of Into the Earth and not to toot my own horn but I think I nailed it
For continued education, you mentioned your stream talking about his highs contrasting lows and it being necessary, if you would like an example check out "From Ruin... We Rise" by Shadow of Intent. Great band and great song, the only critique I've ever heard of it is that there's not much variance in vocals. Cheers bud!
Hey dude, since you're a rap fan I think you'll really like Bloodsoaked Symphony by Whitechapel. Their vocalist Phil Bozeman really likes singing fast and rhymes all the time. He is also a king of those low screams that you said you like! :)

sup dude, I love your videos. you should check out the track "Lucid"by Polaris. it's so good. they're an Australian metal-core band, and their drummer, Daniel Furnari, does some insane stuff. their scream vocalist, Jamie Hails, is incredible and brings the energy in the song, and the clean vocalist, Jake Steinhauser, brings this powerful wave during the chorus. seriously check them out, man
You should react to Shadow of Intent - intensified Genocide and From Ruin… We Rise if you like Deathcore. Shit the the entire Elegy Deluxe album is amazing
If you end up doing part 2, be forewarned, there is some slightly disturbing imagery in the video. Not horror movie-esque, but real life like horror stuff
i recommend you looking at the lyrics, at least some time to just know what the song are about, furthermore it helps understanding lyrics if u know what to listen for. Metal vocalist often play with the pronunciation of words which makes it ofc even harder to understand some lyrics without knowing the words:)

If you're into low growls, "deep voice" as you call it, you should definitely check the band Slaughter to Prevail. Their vocalist Ale Terrible has probably the best growls in deathcore history ; where Will Ramos has a really great range, Alex Terrible is just focused on the low vocals and he his a beast.
