Yes your problems are not as big as everyone else is in the world but they are your problems and they are your size and they matter to you. It's like comparing a 45-year-old's problems to a 19-year-old's problems. The matter to that person in just because they're not the biggest problem in the world does not make them invalid.

I’m new, why is she moving?
She originally moved to Busan, Korea to teach English but the school she worked out shut down during the pandemic so now she is doing more social media stuff so being in the bigger city probably helps with opportunities
Also, if I am not mistaken, I think she mentioned at some point that she wants to do some Korean language program/course/intensive there

Change is terrifying. I've moved countries twice, moved cities six times, and moved between apartments/houses more times than I can count. Each time feels just as intimidating and stressful as the last. Don't let others minimize your worries and don't be hard on yourself for the emotions you're feeling! Take each day as it comes and make the absolute most of it (which I'm confident you'll do). And just as you said, Busan is close enough to visit when your homesickness sets in! ❤️

Sometimes those tears we have can be a good thing. It means you made a deep connection to Busan. You made memories and friends which helped shape apart of your life, a part that you will always look back on with great happiness, and that is a good thing!! Best of all, is that it will always be there for you to visit. You never know, maybe you'll find yourself back there some point down the road. However, you have so much to visit and explore in Korea still, and this next part of your adventure will allow just that. In the mean time, it is ok to feel sad, like you are leaving such a big and happy part of your life behind, because ultimately you are, but sometimes I find it helpful to be grateful for the sadness and tears because it means that something truly amazing happened in your life, and it's better to feel those tears for Busan than to never know they could have existed. I feel the same way about the small town in Arizona I went to nursing school at. My heart yearns for it all the time, but my path right now is in the city and I am happy with that right now. In the mean time I visit in the summer and contemplate the possibilities of when I might be able to move back. Either way, I am so so grateful that I was lucky enough to stumble upon this town, as it truly was a blessing to be able to live there for the time that I did.
Adrienne, I am excited to watch you learn and grow even more on your new adventures, and I hope your feelings of sadness and apprehension quickly fade and before you know it, you will be so happy with your decision to continue your path in Seoul 🍰 🍰🍰
im in college and i constantly think about the day i'll move out of my parents house and it can feel really scary and lonely. Your feelings are completely valid and it'll take some time getting used to, but I'm sure you'll have a blast in Seoul!! Can't wait for all the moving vlogs

After watching you enjoy the beach in Seoul during the summer, I didn't realize how much you preferred Busan as your home. Thanks for sharing. Will you share with us why it is important or necessary for you to move there for a few months? I thought you really wanted to move there for good. I have been watching your videos since quarantine when you were just finishing your teaching job., but maybe I missed something. Also, does the government pay your travel and hotel expenses when you do the travel blogs because you are a UA-cam influencer? Whatever your reasons, I have no doubt that you are ready for the challenge!! Hope the blues pass quickly for you, girl.

Adrienne! Just discovered your channel. I'm a teacher as well. The first few minutes of this video almost made me bawl out as well. I felt the same way when our campus closed and we were told to move back to our hometowns. I.just.was.not.ready. It took a loooot of time - and tears - for me to actually begin accepting that fact. I was resisting and planning on what else I could do but the more I resisted, the more it actually broke me. So I just had to stop. So I moved back home. That was last June. It has been 5 months and I seems to have built my routine again. It was a slow start. There were still a few met-downs along the way. But it got better. I'm sure you'll get through this. Will keep you in my prayers. Learned a lot from your videos. Keep safe and sending virtual hugs to you!
I understand how you feel about moving. I'm actually about to move from my parents home for the first time in my life.
Personally, I'm scared to death because I won't even be in the same state anymore. And my parents aren't in the greatest health either. It makes me second guess my decision to leave.
But....I know I need to leave. And it makes me sad.
I do wish you luck on your move. May you have a safe move.
Think of it this way: this is just another adventure in your life. If it doesn't workout, you can always go back to Busan. But you have to take this chance to see how things go. You'll be ok! We'll all still watch and wait for your videos!

It's ok to be emotional about a move. Even if you know it's not for very long, it's still a big decision and a major life change and that's ok. I think if you weren't just a little scared of the change then you wouldn't be ready.
Changes are difficult sometimes, so don't be so hard on yourself Adrienne. Like you said, Busan is your home, so it's totally normal that you feel like this about leaving. You're starting a new chapter in your life and I really hope that you get an amazing time now that you're in Seoul ♥ Stay safe

Moving is always so hard. Not just the moving to a new place but leaving the place you called your home for a period of time. I've moved multiple times and it's always makes me emotional leaving a city that I have fallen in love with. It's ok to cry!
So why can't you just stay in your apartment you are in now instead of moving ??

I feel the same way about moving. I actually just found out Thursday night I got accepted into Ewha Womens University so I’ll literally be moving to Seoul for the next 4 years in January!!!! but as excited as i am, bc i’ve been wanting to go to this school and move to Seoul for literally YEARS i still feel super anxious and honestly scared as fuck as i don’t know a single person there and loneliness makes me so sad honestly but of course i know i’ll have fun! But if ur ever looking for a new friend pls feel free to hit me up lmao 😭😭 Seoul will be an amazing experience for both of us! You’ll have a blast 🥳💜

@@preciousijeoma9124 i find out about the scholarship christmas eve 😭😭 i don’t know about other korean unis but as a foreign full time undergrad at ewha it’s very possible to get in as long as ur a good canidate, good grades, good essay (i didn’t take SATs btw) but the biggest problem is whether or not we’ll get the scholarship or not!!

@@preciousijeoma9124 omg yaaaaaas we can be seoulites together!!! and pretty much I can ONLY speak for Ewha, but im sure there’s a lot of foreign korean university students but Ewha actually gave me 2 questions to write about for my personal statement so i just followed that! and no i didn’t have any extracurriculars but i wrote about how i lived in England for 3 years studying korean and chinese. So pretty much anything you can think of to make urself stand out...add it!

Seeing you emotional is sad, but it also makes your journey seem so much more extraordinary 💖 it's natural to have doubts and emotions, and seeing you go through the same things we all will have to at some stage, makes the experience of living abroad on your own so much more human 🤗
