Worth it.
For a 60k car this av variant is quite a package. Aside from the red leather seats of course. But im sure u can opt out if u choose gear up package. Overall, a handsome car 9/10.
It kinda waste to use gearup seat when u already opt for av spec. The seat just a cover thus making it redundant. Nevertheless, it look good tbh. Still iriz active got better interior imo.
No creaking noise when rotating the steering. Good job.
if, perodua add HPF like Proton did surely laku keras.
PSDA (ADAS n etc) likely more to prevention (active) system while features like HPF is passive system which can help minimize the impact during major crash.
The multi-information display in the facelifted Myvi is also used in the third generation Toyota Avanza/Daihatsu Xenia here. Interesting.

Can see the car is quite "jumping" on the road due to its stiff suspensions
Compare with the pov of persona/ iriz, the suspensions of proton is seemed more comfortable on the road. Hahaha

Could be high tyre pressure. Usually show/test car have their tyres pump to 300kpa so it looks nice and round in showroom

considering this new Myvi or Ativa to upgrade my Saga BLM. I am leaning more towards Myvi. I just wish this AV variant had full black seats instead of red. the dashboard too.

If you had extra budget i suggest to go for the Ativa. Its much more comfortable car to drive than the myvi. I had the prefacelift myvi g3 AV for 2 yrs, only complains is the harshness of the suspension when it hits even a tiny pothole/striplines and the tyre noise is very apparent above. But do book a test drive to see which do you like better
why go for the old line base model myvi when u can jump to small suv line ativa instead ,

@@dylanmac96 Actually I have budget for X50 also. But waiting list up to 1 year. One of my friends wanted to buy Ativa as well, waiting list 6 months. I don’t want to wait so long, yesterday when l went to Perodua the SA told me this new Myvi got ready stock, that’s why I’m leaning more towards it.
Well equipped with basic items and the steering is looks like “ Mazda “ steering style. Great review

Personally, I feel that this Myvi is more "Ah Beng" now. Everything is red and it hurts my eyes especially the seats. The red part of the seat really huge 😭. They said the Ativa has the red schemes as well and well accepted in the market so they want to apply that to this Myvi. But the thing is the Ativa still looks subtle with its reds while this Myvi....I just can't accept it. Also the meter cluster now looks like it is back to the older style and doesn't feel modern or classy (probably they want to resemble the myvi lagi best but to me that doesn't look 2021). The bumpers also look like Mazda tak jadi. I prefer the older Myvi despite not having more driving assists like this newer model. The older model already got sufficient driving assists. Well, at least to me.
Personal preference bro. Sometimes the design will grow on you when time goes by. As for the improvement is always a welcome features especially on advance safety features.
I chose H as I dislike the red seats lol haha

I test drive for this car and already book for H spec , reason H spec cos only for city use,not going highway use. For pick up sure will loss than previous myvi. If can ,test drive and seat 4 person then you will feel CVT sound taking too so long for changing gear. Other wise car is fun and nice...
CVT basically doesn't has any gear to change thus you will feel it is taking forever to change the gear.

I feel funny with Myvi MC2, they set an auto lock, but the unlock you have to open yourself, it was unnecessary for a driver like us

D CVT is the latest tech from Toyota, Daihatsu and Perodua. So it has its advantages over the Punch CVT.

Do you feel any jerking with D-CVT when slow accelerate? I test drive Ativa 2 times and still feel jerking. It feel like change from gear 1 to 2 but not smooth.
Yes. Sometime. Not sure it is the characteristics of the D CVT due to its dual gear.
Surprisingly quite refined when it's cruising compared to 4at. Just curious how 1.3 with cvt will perform tho.
I think will be the same. Just a little bit less power.

Both are quite similar but Myvi is better in interior space and advance safety features. As for the drive Iriz is a bit better to drive. See what is your priority.

Same ! My mom told me to take yariz but I’m prefer myvi 1.5 av with gear-up 😭❤️ and finally my dad agreed with my opinion . It’s not about design and turbo , I just chose safety and chill ride . Btw myvi king of the road 😭✨

Yes you can feel the bumpiness for sure. But it is not to the extend of jaring or uncomfortable. Going over speed bumps is alright.

After reading all the comment between myvi and iriz. I say i may be go for iriz despite of good nvh and handling because im more towards comfort. For f/c I dont bother. Because just slight only. Now i will comparing between saga and iriz pulak. Which one better buy for good nvh and handling

definitely dcvt, perodua also claimed 0-100 acceleration improve by 20%
Yes the acceleration is quicker and more smooth. For top speed not sure coz I cannot test that out 😅. But CVT at top might not as good. You don't do top speed all the time right?

Ya maybe. But somehow I felt it is coming from suspension than the tryes. I could be wrong. Anyway it also felt more solid going over uneven roads.
Looks like perodua still not upgraded their rear fenders soundproof. We can still hear noisy at rear especially when raining. Tell me if i wrong😌
This is just facelift. Perhaps new model will be different.

Due to some restriction. I am not able to do so. But I can tell you the acceleration is quick and smooth compare to 4AT.

I got my bezza1.3AV 2016 to upgrade to Myvi1.5AV Tomorrow and trade in value to perodua is RM29k..May I humbly ask you is that a good deal?
Maybe you can compare few buyers price before you let go or trade in your car. So you will get a better deal. The price could be subjective due to the demand that time and your car condition.

So when u drive 100kmh the rpm showing at 2 rpm or below that?
I have not notice that during my test drive. But I reckon it's a around 2k rpm. As most of the 1.5NA car is around that range. With its CVT I guess it will be around that or lower. But need to get confirmation from owner tho.
After driving, which one u prefer, myvi or iriz👉👈
Iris felt more sophisticated. As for Myvi some how I felt is more planted after my test drive 🤔. At least at straight line only. Both are as good. If you more lean towards just handling, I think Iriz has the edge.

I think besides of the engine noise reduction due to the dcvt compare to 4AT(no need to rev as high) the rest are mostly the same.

IRIZ vs MYVI, which one more refine ?
Overall I think they are comes to quite equal. If I have to nick pick, Performance refinement I will give to Myvi, Handling refinement I will give to Iriz, Overall cabin refinement both are quite similar. Of coz there will be some differences you can find base your expectations.

why myvi new facelift not many different with myvi 2021
The front facia with different headlamp (but not much different just by its looks), new bumper with DRL. Majorly it has been upgraded to CVT and new Steering from Ativa and more advance safety features. Aesthetic wise not much like others facelift. I will call it a product enhancement more than a facelift. As facelift mostly won't introduce much mechanical and electronics changes.
