I bought a load of TSC toys back in 2010 when Toy Story 3 came out. I was 14 and just wanted a bit of nostalgia. I got them out a few times but they're barely played with and all in their original boxes. I put them in my storage bed and forgot about them for years until I just thought about them earlier today. A quick internet search reveals I'm sitting on over $1,000 of merchandise 🤯🤑🤑 Could you tell me which ones are rare and expensive and which ones are cheap or still in production? I believe I have Buzz, Woody, Jessie, Rex, Mr. Potato Head and Bucket O' Soldiers. They're also from the original TSC and not the TSSC (albeit they have the white background on the TSC badge, not the Andy's clouds). Anyone know how much they're all worth? Cheers!
As the uploader, I know full well that you and I have some decent dough on our hands! Buzz, Woody, Jessie, and the Soldiers are the only ones you have that are still in production under the TSSC name. Rex and Potato Head are now really rare since they didn't sell very well. How's your Rex condition-wise, by the way? I hope you wouldn't mind helping out a fellow collector, perhaps?
@@MikeJehmszClassic Ahh that's great to hear! Well all the toys are in perfect condition as I only played with them probably 10-12 times total. All their boxes are open so all the twist ties are gone etc., but none have any damage on. There is only a tiny bit of mild damage on Mr. Potato Head's hand in the form of a little scratch in the plastic. I may sell them soon but I might even keep them a bit longer, they could go up in value even more 🙏🏻 Also who knows, possibly the other ones may even go up in value one day if they ever get discontinued as well 🤔
@@Travis-guy-247 Definitely keep them on hand for the future. We still have a long way to go! Take good care of them for the time being; even the 2010 releases of Buzz, Woody, and Jessie sell for quite a bit nowadays! *_Psssst... if you could keep this video in mind, too? Haven't been successful in fixing my Rex and, well, ya know?_*
The only problem being he isn't to-scale with the other figures; the generic Thinkway Toys posable Rex is far smaller. I never had a problem with the electronics, though, seeing that Thinkway is notable for their interactive figures.
This was the only toy story collection item I got wat back then but lost it because of a bloody accident but later on I got ducky and bunny then I will get bo peep and duke caboom
A bloody accident? Ooofff.... *•shudders•* The TSC Ducky and Bunny are definitely the closest to the movie in terms of detail and size. You'll really like Bo and Duke, too!
Targets commonly have a lot of Buzz and Woody, but Jessie is a good find! Seeing as you're commenting here about Bo Peep, I assume her video lost its comments? (Thanks, COPPA...)
I'm wondering if he will be brought back, mine I got for Christmas 2017 along with Signature Collection Buzz Lightyear and Classic Mr.and Mrs.Potato Head was the cheaper one.Collection Version is just too rare and expensive to me.
He was just removed from Thinkway’s website. In the email Thinkway sent me about the motor, they mentioned that Rex is “sold out,” so it looks like he’ll be a pretty penny... Potato Head has been off it for a while.
Sup mike I’m checking in on what’s going on and guess what my Rex came in today but long story short he came in with a battery exploded with acid and I cleaned it some of my new AA batteries are too thicc that it got stuck so I opened him up from the tail and the exact same thing happened to me he started buzzing and I got scared but I turned rex’s head a bit and he started moving so I put him back up and he works perfectly, I have never been so happy in my life that I got my 11 year old possession back
MikeJEHMSZ also this could have happened because of so much time not used this guy I bought it new the 2009 version so he has not been used for 11 years
I would recommend this. www.amazon.com/d/Action-Toy-Figures/Toy-Story-3-Rex-Dinosaur/B00261JT94 It’s not the exact same height nor does it have electronics but it’s close enough in height and is more movie accurate without the electronics. For the record, it’s 11 inches high so only about an inch off.
I've seen that Rex in-store for years. I'm totally fine with or without the electronics and the sculpt is fine, though compared to the TSC, the basic runs small. Still looking to do what I can about my TSC Rex; wouldn't want to break up a complete set!
I'm not really a fan of the Disney Store version. The TSC's sculpt and overall detailing look the best, while Disney Store's uses a much cheaper, glossier plastic.
I know a big difference with Toy Story Collection and Signature Collection RC,Collection has forward, backward, mic on/off,explore,follow,and talk on the remote, while Signature, doesn't have it on there, only shape symbols where the 4 buttons are, plus no forward or backward on the side.
It *is* a difference in detailing, but the toy is the same overall, right? A minor difference in symbolism or detailing on the remote wouldn't necessarily constitute the toy as entirely different.

As of now it was yesterday, but thanks!
Happy birthday mike🎉
It was almost three months ago, but thanks!
The only one I never managed to get
He was really difficult to find in-store besides Amazon and Disney Store. Also, I recognize your username, we collabed on a video years ago, right?
@@MikeJehmszClassic Yes we did. Glad to see you're still around. The video we made is still on my channel. GOBOT Episode 5 :)
Hey howdy Happy Birthday man ;)
The b-day man Mike! Hope you had a good one!
I sure did, MoonZow!
Happy b-day

I have the Thinkway Toys's standard one, that one has got to be accurate to because Rex is not supposed to be electronic in the movie.
The only problem being he isn't to-scale with the other figures; the generic Thinkway Toys posable Rex is far smaller. I never had a problem with the electronics, though, seeing that Thinkway is notable for their interactive figures.

MikeJEHMSZ yep my head almost cracked open when my sis she was young I was too she dropped it on my face
Happy birthday! Let's just hope you dont get any new toys! I hear toys get jealous!
I'm sure every toy in my room is jealous of my computer.
there are a cople of cheaper stinky petes on ebay one is 30 dollars but is underscale
It’s unfortunate he’s so expensive otherwise. The Young Epoch Stinky Pete is upwards $600-$1,000
I saw a bo peep at target and the box is HUGE
And Buzz Lightyear
A lot of woody,s
And Jessie

MikeJEHMSZ YEAH “THANKS COPPA” IKR
MikeJEHMSZ and also buzz’s box was damaged a little thankfully my parents didn’t get that one

I want it
Listen to what I say beginning at 7:03 and good luck. You're gonna need it if you want to find this Rex.
I have Amazon
But there none
Like there none
That's why I said he's hard to find. Might want to take a venture onto eBay and hope for the best.

hey where can i find that rex
i am a collector
I mention a few options around 7:04 - eBay resellers will be your best bet, but they will be super expensive now due to his rarity and the new movie.
