Dude, please tell us where your 80Watts come from? Please read the datasheet carefully. TDA2030a can only pump a max of about 35W into an 8Ohm load in BTL configuration. In single use there is a max output of roughly 14-16W possible with +/-18V which is not recommended due to heavy THD and heat dissipation. By the way, your amp sounds like crap.

Not even that! Tda2030a is specified with a max output of 15W at a +/- 15V split supply. Even with the max supply of +/- 18V it's only 16W but I don't even want to think about the heat dissipation... So, since it is an ordinary stereo amp, it's 2x16W with his roughly +/-18V supply at a horiffic THD. At 10.5W it allready produces 10% THD. Everything said with a 4Ohm load. Even a mono amp in BTL configuration will do only 28W at +/-14V into an 8Ohm load. (4Ohms strictly not recommended).
