Interesting, that is basically the same thing as I do, though I do it in a written way: I write down: What keeps me from writing? Then usually the answer pours out: I don't like this, the person is at the wrong location, this and that makes no sense, it would be better if ... and downstream in the flow the solution comes up and I'm ready to continue writing.
