To brake, F1 drivers use their whole body weight assisted by the deceleration of the vehicle to apply more pressure on the brake pedal. It wasn't because you lack the muscle to press the brake, but you were lacking the technique.
Actually it's the main reason they only let people drive 3 laps, apart from lack of fitness for most drivers. Because they get overly "brave" after around that time.

@@sombraarthur Not putting it down at all, I race owner/driver so know the fitness required for a kart, but an F1 car hits 2-4g in braking zones which is significantly harder to deal with.
@@GP_Alessio15 yes, and I agree with you. F1 cars can push the Gs to 4Gs easily. And yet, a kart can get to 2G, if well prepared. :) Not shaming his drive, though. It was impressive, for sure! And yet, 2G is 2G, in a fighter jet, in a kart or in a F1 car.
@@GP_Alessio15 definitely! And that is my point, that you can get to the "starter" level of Gs that a F1 car can give you, inside a kart. So, a kart is indeed a good preparation to actually race a real F1 car. :)

Very nice video. Really puts in the perspective how insanely skilled are professional F1 drivers. But you did really amazing laps! I would be too scared to even start the engine.
By far the best amateur F1 experience performance I saw. I mean, everyone will triggered anti-stall on their first start, even Hammond, but you could be the first I saw that still managed to drive out of the pit lane without assistance. Not to mention you find the braking point only on the second or third corner you start to pushing...
According to the engineer, my pressing force: around 600N, necessary: 800-1000N. Difficult for me to make it in unique F1 driving position almost lying down. G-force is not as crazy as expected thx also to driving position, but still very high, even it was not max braking power of the vehicle:)
You are a natural talent if you’re really an amateur, you drove it like a professional just like when you locked the rears a bit you corrected very nicely!
@@amracer1133 it’s also a bit of natural instinct of people that know a bit of racing, I do sim racing, but I obviously can’t feel the G-Forces, I really had to adapt when I went karting the first time, you did a good job and you were also confident.
Yeah, I feel like when I watch a lot of Motorsport and also do a small bit of sim, the fundamentals of driving it would be that hard in real life. Correct me if I’m wrong but watching f1 for example, seeing how the car turns into the apex and their throttle control during turns etc, you can sort of memorise it and kind of use these things if you ever had the chance to actually drive the car.
Only few people have the opportunity to drive these machines, not only you had the opportunity to drive but also did a great job for an amateur. If Yuki made it to F1 maybe you could also make it :D
I once drove a Ferrari 458 in Mugello for a couple of laps and it felt like driving a monster, I can only imagine what driving an F1 car must feel like. You did AMAZING!
I have the same toughts, I drove the Ferrari 488 @ Monza and that felt already like a rocketship for me with 670hp. I can't imagine how this F1 car feels. I would like to drive this car but it costs a fortune. I guess 4000+ euro.
Hitting 1.4Gs when only on the brakes lightly is insane. I rode in a C7 Corvette Grandsport and that thing felt like it was on rails, and the max G we hit on a track was only 1.1 F1 cars are insane.

I'm most amazed by the fact that you fully pressing the brake with all your power only made the car decelerate by just over 2G's when F1 drivers do over 5G repeatedly for 2 hours straight

For someone that has only raced rental karts, you dealt with those braking forces impressively and the drive was pretty impressive too
Rental Karts, when pushed to their absolute limits, can generate more than 1G on cornering/braking...

DTM cars from 2012-2014 required a minimum of 100NM to fully use the brakes.
I think the G-force feels like your head being pushed to the front

2011年のマシンはブロウン・ディフューザーがあってシフトダウン時に独特な音がしてました。
今となっては懐かしいです。
私もF1の音はこういう甲高いものの方が好きです。実際に乗っていると、音に加えてエンジンの振動もダイレクトに伝わってきて、エンジンがかかった瞬間は本当に感動しました。

I remember reading that with all the downforce at high speed, a F1 decelerate at about 1G just with the release of the throttle.

This guy isn't an amateur. It's very clear in his upshifting and downshifting as well as following the race line somewhat well.

あれはモーターでグルグル回る棒を突っ込んで、エンジンを回して始動しています。
ギュイーンと言っているのがモーターの音です。

In this curve that you were having difficulties to brake. Your reflex would activate after 1 second after passing the cone where it (probably) signals when you would have to start braking
The car must have traveled more than 4 meters after passing the cone
Those meters were what you needed as you didn't have the technique or strength enough to brake
I appreciate your driving and gear shifting, I believe the engine map and aerodynamic settings wouldn't offer you much even if you improved your pace.

よく初めてであんなにアクセル踏めますね!それに初めて乗った車なのによくあんなに左によせたりパイロンぎりぎりタイヤよせて走れますね。すげー
車の本当の限界よりも手前の領域でしか運転できていないのですが、その領域ではすごく扱いやすい車なので、何とかそれっぽく見える感じには走れました(笑)
