That's a huge amount of wood! What kind of wood was the first log? I got a little nervous on the last cut!😅😂... I didn't know how far the metal sticks into the wood. Any guess as to the average speed per cut? I guess that just goes to show that if you push just a little less, you can get a lot more!! Thanks for sharing👍
Thanks for watching, I really appreciate it, as sharing experiences helps to be better informed about the capabilities of the tool. The first log was a birch tree that was felled two weeks ago. With metal in wood, I wanted to show how the saw has no vibrations compared to a chainsaw and the accuracy of the cut itself. Yes, I had to be nervous😅. The sawing speed of the 16" (40 cm) birch tree is approximately 16.5 seconds. of course, it all depends on many factors, including the hardness of the wood (in your case, it's oak). And yes, that's right, if you let the saw cut without very strong pressure, then the risk of overheating of the battery is reduced. apparently, this is a feature of all cordless saws.
@Tihiroprjckuh9000 I 100% agree... the style of cutting with an electric saw is different than gas. With gas you can push the saw right to where it starts to bog and ride that point, with electric, you want to back away from that point slightly and let the saw cut if you're trying to keep the saw from overheating.
