Thank you Pretty Stitch, I am a lifelong crocheter, yet I could never decipher how to do the brioche technique, until your tutorial came along! Your directions are clear and well explained, and I can easily see how to do this stitch in the round, without the need to slip stitch back to the beginning - but that's a great technique for flat pieces - thanks so much~
Your so welcome! Glad I could help. 🥰
❤❤❤❤❤ love learning new stichs from jodie
Thank you! That's why I love crochet so much. There are so many different stitches to learn. 🥰
Thank you so much! I couldn't get this stich from any other tutorial i watched in the whole internet! You did it somehow very understandable!
So glad I could help.🥰
Thanks for a easy to understand tutorial. It is easier than it looks. Thank you!
Nice. I recently learned that you can use single crochet between the double crochets if you want the material to be a little thicker.
What a great variation! Thanks for sharing.☺
@@theprettystitch7092 aw thank YOU for this vid! Im in australia so thinner mayterial is better for me 😂🙏
Wow! This is so pretty! I think it would work in a coster or hot pad
Thank you! I agree it would be great for a coaster or hot pad.
Wow I've never seen this stitch!! Thank you
Great video - thanks!
An interesting stitch which led me to researching the word, brioche, and looking into the crochet stitch as well as baking bread! What I took away from this video, besides the stitch, was learning a way to avoid cutting ends when working with more than one color....working the slip stitch. Maybe I can use this method with other crochet, like striped rows?
I'm sure you could.
THANK YOU😻😻😻🎈🎈🎈🧸🧸🧸👍👍👍
I’m watching for fourth time. !!! Left Handed? Backwards?
This is a very nice stitch, but cannot substitute a Brioche stitch.
Thank you, but I am not sure what you mean? If you are referring to Brioche in knitting, it absolutely is not the same. I just like to give crocheters options than just the typical, traditional crochet stitches.
A brioche crochet is Where you go to end of row, stop short of edge by two and return. Repeat this 4 times then you've created a ladder. Then last row you work those ladders which changes the direction. It's a leaf pattern not a front post waffle looking stitch.
I knit and crochet and it's not a brioche that I know of.
Not sure why this owuld be called a brioche stitch.
I called it that as it is a similar look to some brioche knitting projects. It may have a different name.
Love ❤️ this. Can't wait to make a blanket with it
Thank you! And great idea. I bet it will be so nice and cozy.
