People really forget how unimaginably broken rosa was on release. I completely agree, she was by far the most op character in all brawl stars history. Literally immortal and unstoppable 97% of the match. It just doesn't get any better than that. She really was on her own league.
If all Broken Versions of each brawler was about to fight, i doubt that Broken Rosa would survive agains't Broken Leon. I mean, 100% invisible is OP. Also, godlike damage.

I remember what Rosa was like. I was just a new player at the time, but I was still able to save up a few boxes for her, and since she was rare I had a pretty easy time unlocking her. After that, trophies were free

Don't forget about Bonnie, she was impossible to kill when she had her super ready. And she would crash the WHOLE game, you couldn't even see what happened in the replay it would still close the app.
In a way it was broken, the main reason to me is the fact that they could really make another gadget to balance it unless they nerf the uses of the teleportation. Because the teleportation gadget made it a nightmare to have a gadget as good as that. Basically it was have been way better than teleportation or way worst than teleportation, with no in between.

Uhhh, actually the opposite. Im a Darryl main and know everything about him. The reason his second star power changed is because it was SO bad that no one ever used it. Might also be that Steel Hoops (1st sp) was insanely good. Rolling Reload (2nd) got reworked to compete against the other but Steel hoops was too broken. Then was the big nerf, and even then, it was still better than Rolling Reload. The super shield was so important that supercell had to make it his base kit but even now Steel Hoops is the go-to option in everywhere except heist.

When I saw the title of the video, I instantly thought Leon, gene, and Mortis. I was one of the players fortunate enough to unlock Leon the day he was released, and yes he was exactly as broken as lex described. It was the easiest trophies ever, to the point of it not being fun anymore

What was it with supercell giving brawlers totems of undying’s for star powers, first shelly, then 8-bit & finally bea who had the most op version of the immortality star power. Which she would get a 1-hp shield every life unlike 8-bit who had 1 chance to use his & shelly who needed 20 seconds.
My own honorable mentions: stu (on release), fang (roundhouse kick gadge 1 sec stun), grom (release), bonnie (super crashed the game), bea (release), Mr.P (release, was the best brawler for 6 months).
I remember when sandy was Op he did like 1500damage and sandstorm lasted like 15 seconds i never faced thease op brawlers but it must have been insane to play agints

One more brawler was broken and went into maintenance was BONNIE...when given a super recharge gear....the whole game used to crash as well...well that's not actually at release...but still it broke the brawl stars😂😂
Unpopular(? opinion from a Rosa main: she wouldn't be as broken as she was if she gets back her og stats today. Too many knockbacks, slows and stuns. Part of her brokenness was the absence of gadgets

Now that many brawlers have a protective move (gadget or super) I actually think that Leon becomes visible a bit too early. Supercell should reduce the vision radius. But yeah not too much otherwise it would be too late like it was back then. To me the balance hasn't really been found yet. Overall assassins suffer a lot. There are not even the best counters to throwers bcs they need their supers to get them while other brawlers can just break walls. (Hopefully we have some unbreakable ones now)
I think that leon needs a damage nerf to balanced the buff to his invisibility. He is in my opinion one of the few brawlers that deal too much damage to where its annoying and a brawler where any major damage buff would just make the game unfun to play. Other examples of this include grom & stu.
Stu's release was the best for me and made him my favorite brawler at the time. Relentless, very hard to hit, and his ability to knock people back and forth until perishing. I recall tho with a gadget for Carl (hot coals), it didnt follow the pickaxe, but wherever Carl moved. It was a terrific gadget to combo with the super because you could basically form a flaming circle around the enemy team

As a Leon enjoyer who got Leon when he was released, I can confirm that he was insane.
Rosa was a no-brainer buy when she was released. 30 gems for a straight-up broken brawler, I grinded her up to 500 trophies while she wasn't nerfed.

I agree with Rosa as she was a rare brawler so almost everyone had her immediately. Though sprout was a close second for me since I didn’t get him upon release, but remember hating it when I went up a against him in matches
