Loved seeing this come together. It looks absolutely amazing!! Enjoy those cookouts!
It turned out so good!! 💙
Really nice build, I like the way it turned out and you've given me some great ideas. Only criticism is the frame was built oddly, using pocket holes and depending on the pocket hole screws for strength. The framing isn't visible so I'd recommend using top plate/bottom plate/stud construction for the frame. It's easier, faster, and stronger.
Your guests will definitely be impressed at the next BBQ! Nice work with your Wagner sprayers!
I sure hope so! Thank you! 💛
Great project and welcome back
Thank you so much!
Ok, that is very impressive! Nice work!
Thank you so much!
Nicely done 👍🏻
Thanks!
I like this one very much.
That looks really great!
Wow love this!!! And so much detail 🙂 I'm going to try!!
Thank you thank you!
Looks fantastic guys ! Great video I’m sure you will have many fun times 😀
Thanks!
Great work guys!! It's good to see you back 😁 keep up the awesome work 👍
Glad to be back 🤗
really nice project
Great job!
Thank you!
Looks great
Love the design! Quick question on the hardie backer under the grill, will that handle the elements well? Not sure where you guys are located, but are rain and snow a concern for that material breaking down?
Very nice looking project
Thank you!
What about the fan intake? I’m not sure about this model but mine has two fans under the hopper. This design wouldn’t work for mine but I bet you could modify by simply cutting a 6”x6” hole beneath the hopper to allow for breathing? Regardless, super neat idea and great video.
Super rad!
✌🏼✌🏼
Excellent
Nice build! Only thing I would say is why leave the concrete board bare like that? The rest of the build looks so nice.
Hola Saludos desde la ciudad de Guatemala, excelente trabajo.
Nice project. I personally will remove the Hardie board. For more details read the product SDS.
Finally finished making this. Great plans, easy to follow. Wanted to check in and ask about what you covered your island with?
YAY!! We used this one: the-cover-store.com/island-grill-cover?cat=100
It’s not a perfect fit if you are using the Traeger because there’s no cut out for the smoke stack, but it’s the closest we could find!
Great video, thank you for sharing. Quick question, what are the measurements of the area where the grill sits on? I am looking to do something similar to this. Thank you.
How is this holding up in the elements?
why not tile under the traeger?
omg LOVE this. The quality of the video is great as well. May I ask what setup you are using?
Thank you!

Can you post details on the cover? Are you making one custom or did you find an off-the-self one that fits? Nice video and awesome setup!
Thoughts of weather proof??
what type of wood do you use? Thank you!
Anyone think about adding a roof to these roller kitchens? Protect it from rain / snow. And also sealing your material waterproof

@@Woodbrew very cool!! I more so wonder about these on rollers and a roof. Not completely enclosed, just wood pillar support on the side and roof. Curious if it’s been done.
Great video. For sure going to attempt this. The jig you use for the pre drilled holes. What’s it called? Trying to find the same one. (I am in the Uk). Thanks
Thanks! It’s called a pocket hole jig from Kreg!
Does this have to be a traeger grill? Would a gas grill work with these plans?
As long as you monitor the heat then any grill would work. Some grills may require more heat shielding or pulling the grill out for use.
Love it!! Quick question, how did you fasten the grill?
Thanks! It’s not fastened, just sitting on top 👍🏻
Hi! love the video the outdoor kitchen looks awesome , what modal is the traeger we are getting ready to build our island but not sure witch traeger to purchase thank you
It’s the 780 Pro and we love it!!
Hi love your videos have a question when you set your treager on the the island did you guys put an adapter on the bottom of the treager so the auger would not hit the bottom, I’m doing basically the same thing you guys did but the auger on my treager seems to be below the base of the smoker thanks
Did I miss it or did you not put a floor in it to keep critters out?
There’s a floor in the cabinet, but not inside under the grill!
looks great and you dont need 50 million different tools to try and make it
how is the hardi backer working out with the heat?
No issues🙃
I have the traeger pro 780. Did you use a special attachment to make it tabletop?
Nope! Just didn’t add the legs🙃
After 1y, has it sagged at all?
Doesn’t to appear to have sagged at all👍🏻
What Traeger. Idem did you use
Pro 780!
Woodbrew, I have shared, 👍🏽 and 👀 this video what seems like a gazillion time. It's such an amazing project!
I've wondered how the butcher-block is holding up through the seasons?
We keep it covered 99.999% of the time, so it’s holding up pretty well!
There's a fly on your computer 7:46
Is that finish on the butcher block food safe?
Would not recommend actually using the butcher block with this finish like a cutting board! This prep area will be used more so as a counter top👍🏻
What's that I see on your figure Boy?
We got married 🙃🙃💕
@@Woodbrew Obviously! Congratulations, love and respect each other, be honest, never take your partner for granted and put them first before everyone else, EVERYONE! Simple practices that will stand the test of time.
This is such a safety hazard. Smokers are well known to flame up. Putting a smoker inches away from a wooden fence and with a butcher block nearby is asking for trouble. Your traeger owners manual tells you to put this at least 18” from wooden surfaces on the sides. Love the design and idea, but this needs some tweaks.
Welcome back. Dylan, if you like that model of pocket hole jig, get the armor clamp upgrade - armor-tool.com/product/armor-jig-bracket-in-line-t-track-combo-kit/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIxNusod-48gIVk77ICh11iwIXEAQYASABEgLjl_D_BwE. You will love it.
Kitchen station looks great.
👍🏻👍🏻
Not to hate but building anything for outdoors exppsed to elements without treated wood isnt going to last
I build a lot of stuff for outside with cheap pine. The way to make it last is multiple coatings of a UV protectant and 3 coatings of a waterproof sealer. Spray some liquid flex around any legs of furniture that’s touching the ground.
@@susanv6297the problem is that T-1-11 siding. That stuff is pure shit, it’ll rot out and there’s nothing you can do to stop it, paint will not help. I’ve made a lot of money tearing this shit off from houses( it was a popular siding on 80’s and 90’s). Also it is meant as a vertical siding not horizontal but for this little application it doesn’t matter. I just despise anyone using this shit, I have 1000’s of pics of why I hate, there’s a reason it’s not available in my area anymore, it’s a special order only. It may be fine if you live in a desert where it never rains and zero humidity
Great looking build guys, you knocked it out of the park! A quick recommendation, if you take a scrap piece of that 3/4" plywood and secure the pocket hole jig to it temporarily, it won't have tendency to slide around on you. Keep the content coming. Love it!
Thanks so much!
Hey guy's what's up Family,That was a awesome video and a awesome project I love it,You guy's Rock take care and I will see you again later :)
Thanks TJ 🙃
HEY!!! We missed you! Welcome back, hope all is good!!
Happy to be back!
Have you had any issues with heat and the bottom of the traeger. When it has legs it gets air flow to the bottom of the grill.
The outdoor kitchen looks amazing. Now I'm going to build one for my sister since she loves having cookouts. Thanks for the instructional video.
That’s awesome! Glad you like it 🤗
I bet that will be sagging in 6-12 months, unless you install a couple more wheels in the middle.
Not with the sheer strength of the siding. Plywood in sheer is incredibly strong.
Great project with the bbq you should put casters in the middle so it won't bend in time. Keep up the great work 😎👌🎉🎊🇵🇷
Thanks!
Outta Curiosity why no color on the hardy board ??? Great video guys
No reason 😂 I guess you could paint it black to match if you wanted to!
Looks great! Here in AZ it would be a miracle if it lasted a year with the heat and sun.
Haha we feel you on that! We are in southern Alabama, but this will have a cover over it unless we are using it. Everything we used can be outdoors, so we are super happy with how it turned out 🤗
do you screw the Traeger to the island? if so, how?
No we didn’t
Excellent build, turned out really nice! The stainless steel doors really set it off.
Yay thank you!
That looks great!
Thank you!
It doesn't seem like there is enough of a gap between the pellet box and the top of the table for the plug to fit. Did you drill a hole for the plug or does it fit without a hole?
Great to see another woodbrew video
Yay! We are back🤗
Look at my baby Dylan all grown. Watched a video from 3 years ago on a different channel. Hey Dylan!!!
Traeger claims you need at least 2" under the grill for ventilation
That turned out super clean. Do you think you might need casters in the middle fir more support from future sag?
first pellet grill friendly implementation I have seen so far. Now I have a CampChef and I would need to modify your design for its unique features... definitely buying the plans. Later I will share the mods made to accommodate the CampChef with the side kick accessory
Quilaty job.Well presented.Have subscribed.
Parabéns pelos trabalhos galega.
brilliant!!! exactly what I needed
well done
you guys are great and very nice build.
Does the grill move at all since it isn’t fastened down? Wouldn’t something simple like opening and closing the lid make it move around a little?
Nope! It’s honestly a pretty hefty grill and with the grill base being heavier than the lid, it doesn’t wiggle at all☺️ You can attach the grill to the base if you wanted to!
Niiiiiicee!!!! 👏🏾
Very nice design. Any concern with the amount of heat from the grill that close to the wooden back?
Nope! These pellet grills don’t put out much heat to the bottom🙌🏻
Great video !!! Why the Month long break between videos y’all use to post way more!! God bless
We’ve been doing bigger projects and bigger projects take a little more time 🤗
it takes patience and thoroughness in making something
Sure does, but it’s so rewarding!
@@Woodbrew very useful
First let me say it's good to see you guys again and that project turned out great. I'm building an outdoor kitchen and plan to do a cabinet that will hold my new Traeger too
Perfect timing haha. Glad you enjoyed it ❤️
What is the total length of this?
95 1/4” 😁
What color is that paint?
Broadway by Behr!
How has it held up with the Traeger heat?
No problems! 🤗
subd nice work
Thank you thank you!
Nice job! Great project and the color choices are perfect!
Agreed!! 🤗
Great build! What color is the paint?
Broadway from Behr!
@@Woodbrew how well does the T1-11 hold up to the elements?
*Love this video!* I did a similar build 4 years ago and it’s holding up well!
Love seeing others do it their way
Why isn't wearing a respirator when using the paint sprayer?
We didn’t feel the need to while being outside with a draft and there’s no much overspray👍🏻
