5 Ways to Use Tahini - Savoury Edition

  • Do you have a jar of tahini in your cupboard that you bought to make homemade hummus but you're left with a jar that's still 3/4 way full and have no idea what to do with it?
    Here's 5 ways to use tahini (hummus not being one of them!). This is a savoury edition, I'll be uploading a sweet edition soon ;)
    These recipes are healthy, vegan, fully plant-based and gluten-free. They're also delicious and super easy to make :D

    You may eat tahini with dates, too. Just dip date into tahini. This is quite beneficial in winter days.

    Tahini is literally my whole life!! but I have to find the proper run ones (usually can find them in local arabic store), the ones in tesco are so thick it's like clay lol

      Same here! I grew up eating it and now I add it to everything :D I buy mine from Arabic/Asian shops too. As you said the texture is so much better and it's so much cheaper!

      i just got sesame tahini from thrive market and i had never tried it before but always saw it in recipes so i wanted to try as a dressing. when i tasted it i did not enjoy it. its very thick and dry. the label says unhulled. help? should i be mixing it with something to make more luquidy? thx!

      Rosenny Ramirez Middle Eastern/Arabic Tahini is best as it's very thin and runny. If you want to use it in a dressing add lemon juice and water to thin it out.

      My Fussy Eater (Ciara Attwell) Sesame seeds toasted in blend it with grapeseed oil salt and pepper to taste maybe even some lemon juice wouldn’t hurt

    Thanks for you video, the lentil-tahini-falafel are my favorites now. Homemade tahini is so easy to make and can't be compared with the store bought ones, for this dish I add also a dash of sriracha.

    I am in LOVE with that frying pan from the second recipie. Red handle, white pan and the materialit is made of! When you put the spring onion in my heart squilled: Beautifully shooted video, simple and nice music :) And the first recipie looks amazign for me,second is made for my boyfirend :) will try tem out! thank you :)

      Onyria Rojas have you tried mixing Tahini with a bit of date syrup? Spread it on a piece of bread/toast for a yummy breakfast 😋 My favourite way to eat Tahini!
