LOL , I bet pops was beaming eye to eye and thinking 'THAT'S MY BOY", bet that will be one of his best memories between y'all, I remember a few like that with my dad !
I always love your videos make sure that you tell your dad that you love him i can't tell mine anymore and I'm 64 years old it's sometimes that still hurts so bad. I wish you the best and I hope he has a nice long long life.
FOR SURE, jump @ the chance to SERVE him, I remember after taking my dad back in after he had issues, one day as we was sitting in my old truck he leaned over, patted me on the leg, his huge blue eyes gleaming said "I want you to know son I appreciate all you do for me" those memories are better than anything @@ChrisfromKeyfarm
I hope I start seeing your videos again. I used to get updates but I haven't gotten any in awhile. It might have been my settings. I have it on allert now. Love these videos!
So freaking cool! A few questions for you if you have the time - Do you use a centrifugal clutch or cvt to mate the engine to the transmission? Also, how do you shift gears without a clutch or pressure plate? Do you just let go of the throttle and shift onto the next gear?
Sure, I have time. I use a clutch, cvt's have their place, but I don't like them as much. To shift I float the gears. It's all about timing, just let off the gas wait for the trans and engine to match speed, slides into the next gear. To down shift you have to give it a rev. You sure do like to engine swap between your yard mower and your to town goer! Dad looked skeptical at first but he was grinnin at the end. Ole Hoyt got a little worked up too but he has to control hisself or he blows a fuse in his pacemaker. What speed could ya reach on a long flat road with your foot on the floor? Sound real muscley too. 🥸👍✅

@@ChrisfromKeyfarm no need to be sorry buddy . but take advantage of it while you can . 100years gos by faster then you think .
If it isn’t the clutch it’s the brass synchros.
