this is INCREDIBLE. keep up the great and please do more Aerosmith! As a guitarist who records covers this is an amazing tool and great for bands who want to hear every instrument
I always loved the ending, after the fermata, when Joey Kramer came in with that big fill and then the killer groove that followed - that was a huge influence on all young drummers! BTW: sugar packet is only a nickname for a shaker, a hollow aluminum cylinder filled with a bit of sand - kinda like a maraca but with a more subtle and crisper sound to it. As always, great video, looking forward to the next!
@@DLD2Music Why did you leave it out in the song???? I heard it could also be a gamelon but who really knows. You can’t play this song and leave that out of the music performed. But a very informative !
I always wanted to join a rock band. I must take my music talents to the next level and learn to play the sugar packet. That’s the way you do it. Money for nothin’ and your chicks for free … Right!! Dream On.
Never thought I’d see sugar packet listed as an instrument but god damn Steven Tyler rocks it
Ah yes, Steven Tyler: vocals and sugar packet
this is INCREDIBLE. keep up the great and please do more Aerosmith! As a guitarist who records covers this is an amazing tool and great for bands who want to hear every instrument
Joe perry end solo: you can totally see where Slash picked his playing from
If you listen to the solo in Adam's Apple it is very similar to the 2nd welcome to the jungle solo as well
@@seandouglas8655 Damn..that is so true! never realized before
Never realized or thought about the marimbas in this. That’s pretty cool

No, he literally played a sugar packet on the recording because they didn't have any maracas. He told the story on Howard Stern.
This is so great. Never knew there was marimba on this
Bass Marimba by Jay
It's actually a Kalimba. Different instrument
Those drums sound killer isolated
Man, the Vibraslap breaking @0:18 is especially hilarious sounding isolated.
Never knew it broke, always thought that was just the sound they were going for
@@WhiskerWhippers definitely not how a slap sounds lol - you can even hear them picking it up again shortly after that while it was still mic'd up
Tom Hamilton drives this groove and walk this way the bass is unreal in walk this way
So good! Never knew there was a marimba! Vocals so cool!
0:18 vibraslap breaks lol
Lol
That's what makes it awesome
The burp in between vocals is amazing
The secrets of the old masters
Do more Aerosmith please
Draw the line?
and also also the sugar packet is the first image that comes up on google when you search sugar packet
LOL
Te fuiste al chori con éste... volvé a tu línea 🙏😉
i use cake sprinklers in a bottle instead
Absolutely amazing, as a huge Aerosmith fan I'm in ecstasy right now! Tks for share!!! What program do you use to unmix all tracks? Tks again
Awesome bassline
tom hamilton bringin' the funk!
So they used two white powdery substances when they did this.
Joe uses a strat for the solo. The verse sounds like a single guitar
Sweet!
Keep m coming
where did you get this?
It's cool to hear a song broken down in a whole new way
The hi hats at the end of each measure make the tune
How were the tracks separated?
Usually they are taken from a music game like Rock Band or Guitar Hero.
why did they use a sugar packet probably because they didnt have maracas
maybe or a joke
they have a marimba but no maracas XD
I figured it'd be a tape dispenser or maraca than a sugar packet
Steven sounds like he's singing 2 parts in the chorus
Can you upload Skynyrd's isolated track please 🙏 (Free Bird & Tuesday's Gone)
I’ll second that on Tuesdays Gone.
Get the lead out next
You forgot the bass marimba in the beginning.
Check the description

@@Yodelinthegully-d7r I already knew it and it was documented in my video
and also did the beatles ever use a vibraslap a talk box and a sugar packet on their songs
no, no, the talk box was invented in the 30s and popularized by Peter Frampton and Idk
So did the Beatles solo songs have a talk box

Why is Messina there and not Tom Hamilton?

The verse sounds like 1 guitar only
Next guns n roses
It's amazing how much songs suck when they're deconstructed. But they're good when all together as though they're more than the sum of their parts.
