Wasn't even 5 minutes in and I was crying. I too am in UK and my partner is Ugandan. Similarly we have 4 kids that came from other family members. Fortunately he has dual citizenship so he can come to UK (I actually met him here in the UK when he livedhere). I have been through all those emotions, hopefully by the end of the year we'll be together full time. Sending lots of hugs x

Before we start having kids.. those kids feel like your own kids..We ended up adopting a newborn son 37 years ago..He’s grown up now has his own family has done very well in life he’s 37 and is vice president of a university. We lost our first child newborn girl six weeks.. old..so I had 1 more and then we adopted a newborn 37 years ago. So we ended up with 2 sons.. 43 and 37 are their ages. I have seen several cases of families being apart on UA-cam.. that is so sad ..I sure hope you get to bring your daughters over here..You just hang in there and stay prayerful and I will keep praying for you guys🥰🥰❤️❤️..

When I first lived away from family I always found it helpful to have made plans for when I would next see them before I returned home. Somehow made it more a “see you later” than “goodbye”. I’m not sure how possible that would be for you guys right now but I wonder if it would ease the transition for all of you knowing when you are going to see each other again?

When I said goodbye to my husband at Entebbe airport in May it was like my heart was being ripped out. I was crying then had to get in line to present my neg covid test to the officials while I was sniffling from crying. It appeared like i had symptoms of it ha ha They should have a recovery area with boxes of tissues and a place to sit a moment before facing the scary uganda officials.
Seriously God must do a miracle in this situation 🙏🙏🙏I felt your pain Emilie, to leave Josh & kids behind without accomplishing what you planned to do. It is well with you, God sees your hearts and He reward you both very soon for loving those children ❤️❤️Remain strong 🙏🙏🙏

I feel your pain...when l left Uganda to return to the states..my husband had to stay ...immigration issues..
And it was the hardest thing to say our Byes..to each other and to all his family..its very difficult...😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
