Kelligh89 I became a fan of these two beautiful women just a month ago. I had never seen the show and one day I was bored and got into Netflix and I was looking for some action type movie when I saw Xena the warrior princes and started watching it. I was hooked from the first chapter and did not stop watching the series until the end. I thought it was brilliant and very well done. I loved it!
i guess tv wasnt ready for them to be an open on screen same sex relationship.
They broke all the rules in all aspects on Xena... but some things were harder to carry out

But it makes sense now, though, right?
When I was young and watched it religiously my brother kept saying that the characters are gay for each other. I kept telling him no, he's wrong. 15 years later I research it and second episode I I'm like.... okay maybe they were gay for each other. Mode episodes pass... okay... a lot gay for each other... towards the end if the show... they are soulmates and will love each other forever and ever.

Love the idea of Xena, but this show promotes lesbianism. Not good!
You can't "promote" lesbianism... That's silly. Just like you can't promote being right or left handed. You either ARE gay or you AREN'T. I was born this way. You were born heterosexual. Did you wake up one day and decide to be straight?
True Xena Zon! .. Being gay is not a lifestyle.. They are born that way and I wonder if Gerinja doesn't have enough grey matter in her/his brain to look at the logic of it all and ask himself/herself the question.. How could God make such a mistake when he created homosexuals? ... Even the Bible talks about this. It is sad that people like Gerinja won't let their hearts talk and realize for once that they are being fed with fear and hate just so they can be controlled.

We don't want to "promote" people loving one another and living happy, healthy lives. Why don't they worry about "promoting" the glorification of war, violence toward women, rape, child abuse, etc?

The show promoted redemption, change, and a female hero that didn't NEED a man to save the day. They did not promote being lesbian because they did not need to. Being gay is not a concept to promote. It's a reality. You don't choose it. If you chose your sexuality then you were born Bi.
