The Basuri or flute music is my Call to Krishna moment. As a child 75+ years ago the sound woke me up very early in the morning. It would travel on a breeze from over a mile away and my grandfather would pick up his sitar and start playing to accompany it. We were living in the Caribbean ….he was the son of an indentured worker under the British Raj
