I used to watch the fresh beat band as a kid. Not gonna lie. Now I'm a HUGE MEGA BESTLES SUPERFAN. OK maybe that was a little much, but I looked up this show for the memories and found this. Dude they stole from the Beatles, they say the song "Twist an Shout" was written by Bert Russell and Phil Medley from the TV show!!! Why are they not giving credit to the Beatles? This song was written by Lennon & McCartney!
That's because they edited the song and were given permission to use it in their show. They've used lots of songs written by other people, but changed the tone so it isn't straight copyright. They were given permission to use the song.

Lennon & McCartney I appreciate your enthusiasm buddy but they did in fact cover it. Google “who wrote Twist and Shout” and you’ll see who really wrote it. They only appear first because their cover was wildly popular, much more so than the original recording.
