The key is to click the "Start/Stop" button three times FAST!
That is correct. And if you dont get it the first time, just try it again.
I pay $775 a month for my X5 and the dealer wanted ME to pay for an oil change! Good luck a holes.
If you dont mind me asking, How old is the X5 and how many miles does it have on it? For most dealerships they can only do the oil change if it is covered under maintenance and has hit the 1 year or 10k mile mark for it to be accomplished. Otherwise you would have to cover it and it would be customer pay at that point. Unfortunately there is only so much the dealership can do unless you made an agreement with at time of purchase.
You can reset the brake pad change as well if it an option.

How to reset visual inspection?
It should be the same process but use the bc button to cycle through it.
Except mine still says "reset impossible." Just like the demo.
In that case you will have to take it to the dealership to have them reset it. They will have to connect the vehicle to the computer to reset it. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen this and it’s happened on older generation vehicles too.

Also, If your date and time are not set in your radio it will not reset because it doesn’t know what date to connect to the service interval.
HOW DO YOU RESET THE ENGINE LIGHT! Not the engine oil or maintenance. The engine (there's a yellow engine). Reset possible for what? There's 3 options, Brakes, Oil and Vehicle Check. The Vehicle Check says Impossible and this video does not answer this question. The name kinda fooled me though
Its a video for how to reset a service light. You can no clear a check engine light if the probelm is not resolved. If the vehicle check states it can no be cleared you would have to take it to a dealership. You might want to do some studying before getting offeneded that a simple answer is not given to you directly. I guess thats why the service technicians get paid the big bucks.
And how did you put it into diag mode 🤣🤣🤣 bruh this x3 with same display doesn’t work just give a tiny menu
Wait for the diag menu to disappear before holding down the bc button.
