Great video, and thanks for putting it together. One thing I did notice was you stated that ganciclovir is phosphorylated by viral thymidine kinase. While TK acts on acyclovir/valacyclovir it does not act on ganciclovir. A different viral kinase is in play here. This is why in acyclovir resistance (most commonly due to absent or decreased activity of viral TK) ganciclovir will remain active and an option for treatment of HSV and VZV. Thanks again for putting together this video. It was a good review
