Thank you! I just updated my PrusaSlicer version to get the triangle brush and smart fill. I love how simply and clearly you explain so much about 3D printing. Between that and your videos being very Mac friendly, BV3D gets a lot of the credit for helping me get into 3D printing a little over a year ago!
Thanks Bryan for another great video! Daniel over on ModBot did a similar video a few months back and mentioned a setting in PrusaSlicer that reduces some of the excess in the supports. Go to Print Settings > Support Material, under "Options for support materials and raft" change "Style" from "Grid" to "Snug".

I've always wanted to know how the paint-on supports worked. Thanks fer the information!!
You are very welcome!
You explained that to a T. 👍
I'm glad you found this to be T-riffic! 😁
Thanks for another Bryan. I wont paint it all up the sides now. I keep saying I'll sit down and study, But you know how it is
Great explanation, as usual.
Thanks! 👍
Nice Bryan, I did not know about the smart fill. THANKS ! ( I must have over looked it) lol

Another great video, Bryan! Insert support joke here.
"suited this model to a T" and "support group" I knew I would laugh at some point during this video. Thanks man!
Consider me a subscriber! This was really helpful.
The next support meeting will be around the tree I guess? ;)
Either that, or at the branch office. 😄
What do you think of the i3mks?
Nice script writing 🙂🙂👊👊👊
Curas tree supports are so much better!
I'll have to explore those! Are they still listed as experimental?
@@BV3D No, they are long since came out of that pit ;) Adaprive layers and Bridging are still there though.
Yeah, I wish Prusaslicer introduced tree supports.
@@skaifer1715 I think they are in the 2.6 update
@@MageLeaderInc You are correct! Exciting news 😯
The funny part is prusa slicer doesn't support soval 3d printers
