Been listening to her for about 7/8 years, became one of my FAVORITE artists. A friend of mine introduced me to her and been listening ever since. She’s also the featured vocalist on the newest God Of War game soundtrack (2018 and 2022) 😊 she’s incredible

@@OldSkuleNerdif you go deeper into her work, you gonna see that she is one of the most versatile artists of our time. she is home in so many genres. nordic, folk, jazz, blues, classic, pop. one of my favourit work by her is an album most people don't know, it's called at the heart of a selkie and is the theoretical backbone of some of her most popular songs, you really know after listening to it and reading the lyrics what those songs are a out. don't dimash her, that sentence is great, haha. for this album ive put the lyrics in faroese and english side by side into the comment section. i hope you discover some more songs by her. ( but yes, with her register, versatility and personality she really is probably the best singer of our time, without dimashing her, lol)

dude, i have reccomended her for sure before. many times. there is a very large catalogue to work through. she is not only a goddess, but also a vocal-goat, classically trained sopran and owner of a masters degree in traditional nordic vocal techniques.

I saw a number of the new songs already live in April and they were even better live than the studio versions, especially QMQ that really explodes live. Let's hope YT allows you to do more TW reactions.
