    Nice job, looks really nicely done but I don’t really understand as actually it is intended to be installed the way you say it’s not intended. You’ve found a nice way of doing things but you’re supposed to insert it from outside and screw it on the inside. Just saying.

      KretinzUnited hi, you may be mistaking this for the part that was released by another company. The part shown here was designed by me, so this is how I designed it to be installed.

    Took photos yesterday of a fullsize example, and noticed that the alcove for the filler cap was painted the same colour of the body

      Yes we recommend 2-3 coats of Tamiya primer followed by a light sand with 1200 grit wet & dry (dry).

    Nice job, but the hole is too far down. Look at a real LR. Bye
