Love all your wonderful trade secrets Jim. Creating an inspiration image board is a very cool tutorial as cropping an image in Procreate is not as easy as say a program like Photoshop.
Good day James, I’m really hoping you could do a tutorial on transferring a plan drawing to a perspective rendering on either Morpholio or Procreate. There are plenty of beautiful tutorials on using the perspective drawing assist tools, but not a single tutorial online shows how to start with a plan, so that it is accurately drawn and scaled in the 3D perspective. I’ve been racking my brain, trying to translate the OG/dinosaur perspective rendering rules into this new game and I’m coming up short. Is this a trade secret lol?
good lesson.----why, on the first example, do you add a layer (after swtiching off drawing assist), fill the layer with white, then add another layer to draw on? what is the purpose of the white-fill layer (labelled Trace)? you dont seem to add a white fill layer in the other examples
You have sharp eyes sir and you are exactly correct. It’s a habit I’ve gotten into. Sometimes it’s not prudent to change the opacity of the base layer-like with a plan or something 2D-but in this case it was easy. Thanks so much for paying such careful attention

Thanks so much. Michael! So good to hear as sometimes we work in black boxes and don’t know how the content is landing!

Yeah. Interesting that Morpholio is mentioned only at the beginning. I guess it isn’t needed in this case.
