I wanna share on what I was imagining while listening to this beautiful & magical version: Supporting character, Yuya Higuchi(CV: Nozomu Sasaki) & main heroine, Yako Katsuragi(CV: Kana Ueda) from Yusei Matsui's debut manga, Neuro: Supernatural Detective (aka Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro) on a stage located in Tokyo Disneyland as Yuya was dressed up in a sexy Aladdin-style tuxedo suit with an unbuttoned shirt & Yako was wearing an extremely beautiful Jasmine-style strapless off-the shoulder high-low dress. & The two were performing a romantic & magical musical duet of the Japanese version of Nick Lachey & Jessica Simpson's modern cover for "A Whole New World"....the song ends with Yuya & Yako gazing at each other, entwining their fingers, leaning their foreheads to each other's, & closing in with their lips being close to each other's, & looking like they're about to share a kiss. Then the stage lights turn off only showing Yuya & Yako's silhouettes, & then the audience applaud as the stage lights are back on as Yuya & Yako are smiling, holding hands, facing the audience & bowing to them. I remember having the DVD and going to Bonus Features (which most movies don't even have now!) and watching the Music Video and singing along with my absolutely terrible singing voice... But it wasn't terrible to me then. I was just being awesome because I could sing the majority of A Whole New World without looking at the Sing-A-Long lyrics. XD

Wow! i never listen to another version of this song except the original one, it's the best, though, i think Jessica has to improve her singing skill, her voice is not good, i don't like her voice, while Nick's voice makes my heart flutter:P Keep up with your talent, Jessica!!

Well, even though this version isn't as magical as the original version, but at least Nick and Jessica did brought in that nostalgia in Aladdin and Jasmine's relationship in the first film. Overall, not a bad version, but I strongly think that they should've gotten someone else to sing the female part in this duet with Nick. I don't think that Jessica is a terrible singer, but I am just saying that her voice wasn't meant for this song.

TuggyAngel absolutely agree....Jessica has a breathy softer voice that sounds a bit raspy at times....u need a strong smooth voice for this song. Jessica's voice is good for typical pop and fun songs. :)

I watched this as a bonus feature on the Aladdin 2 disc special edition my brother got me 2 days before thanksgiving and this is very beautiful.
I miss Nick and Jessica together. This is a good reminder of it. Their singing's even compatible.
