Love the name and love local history maybe because I live in the village that’s associated with the dambusters 617 squadron. I’m absolutely loving my bucket blaster it’s fantastic 👍we love seeing your lovely mug ❤️😄I’m rubbish at making names up for brews but you definitely have a talent for it. I’ve just ordered some grains and the price made my eyes water,I have grain envy. I wish we still had the bass malting in Sleaford near me but alas shut years ago. Another great vid cheers 👍🍻
Cheers Rick. Captain Vernon Wentworth was the last private owner of the stately home only ten minutes walk away from me. He was an odd character but much loved and by all accounts looked after his staff and tenants. He died in 1952 but my father and grandfather both spoke of him fondly. I doubt he drank beer but you never know but I am sure he would like a beer named after him👍 Thought I would name it after him as he had my house built in the 1880s.

Yes I know it was a bit spiderist😂 however that type of spider is everywhere in my house and is a nuisance where the others are not as common . It’s a bit like grey squirrels getting rid of the red ones😂 I have plenty of those grey ones too eating the food I put out for the birds.😂

Cheers Al, I have a good selection of beers on tap at the moment and am hoping this pale ale turns out well. Captain Vernon Wentworth won’t be able to try it as he died in 1952 but I am sure he would have appreciated a local beer being named after him😂😂

Those glasses are fantastic for giving guests a taste of your beers. I went to Joseph Sepps brewery In Memmingen Germany last September and tried their beers on this platter. I asked the waitress if they sold them and she charged me 22 euros for them. Well worth the money in my opinion. Just a pity I didn’t buy two😂
Great video. All the beers look and sound fantastic. Good idea to buy your grain that way and save some money. Grain prices in the US haven't risen too much compared to 5 years ago so I guess we're really lucky in that regard. Cheers mate!🍺

Hope Heather didnt have to hump those grain bags into the brewery the poor woman 😂. Seriously though, that is a great price for grain, it is still crazy expensive at the minute and I cant see it coming down now its been up there all this time. Ive never bought a grain mill but definitely giving it consideration now.
Actually she did carry them into the brewery and manoeuvred them about. I am not allowed to lift anything heavy and if I try she goes ballistic. However i keep her happy with lots of beer😂

Good looking stuff. I imagine you're going to be doing smaller batches, with all that malt. Or feed it to the Pheasants. Haha
Yes will do a few 25 litre batches but I do the odd 40 litre batch now and again.
What I need is a few more kegs, I have only got five 😂
