My parents met in 1957 in a small city in Michigan that was close to one of the many lakes there. They both are now gone and my life is empty without them. This music and the video graphics makes me feel close to them and I wonder if they heard these songs while they were dating!

This particular playlist is so beautiful! The art is delightful of course, but the assortment of songs feels gorgeous. This is what a timeless music means :) No matter when it was created, it still feels as charming as then.

A couple suggestions on sounds which might add to the authenticity just a hair (and I ain't criticizing, I'm just thinking outside the box here): 1) occasional wooden screen door 2) meal calls 3) barking dog 4) bouy bells 5) vehicle driving by. I could go on, but I gotta grab another Schaefer here....

This has been an issue with Lepreezy for years. They never post song lists which is infuriating if you’re trying to find a song, but the best place to look for them is on the Internet Archive- search up the lyrics you hear and you have a good chance of finding the song

Just a minute ago that specific song caught my attention. This is a playlist that I discovered today and it was my second time listening to it, the first time I was stressed out with some work things and although I liked it a lot, it was almost background noise and I did not put much attention to it. I knew I liked it though a lot though. Nevertheless having resolved the morning work, I was determined to keep listening to it except it had finished and I restarted it. This second time being able to absorbe it a bit better. Then Lilacs' by Marian Carus started playing and by the time it was finishing I knew I had found the first candidate to be saved into my personal playlist. The song was ending and I tried shazam and nothing, no match, then I tried looking at the description of the video but nothing was there on for the names of the songs. Disappointed, I quickly glanced at the first 3 comments, I thought, maybe someone had commented the complete playlist, (usually found in the first few comments), but also nothing there; I turned the other way, ready to get up and go on with my day, except two words sticked in the buffer of my brain: "lilacs / lonesome" on the second comment, in other words, yours. They sounded too familiar, the song had finished like 15 seconds ago, and to give you some more context, English is not my first language so if I'm not paying sufficient attention, words just become words and I can't make them out individually, and thats a good thing!. Anyway I don't know what I was doing but I was concentrating on the music and melody, which for this particular song were very lovely and went straight to the heart. Everybody knows when they like a song immediately or not and I knew I had to collect this one. So here I am, in this instant, suspended in the vacuum, and in my mind I have these two pieces of information, the melody of a song that was quickly fading as the new one had already started; and the quick glance at your comment, and in that instant my brain creates a connection: "lilacs _ _ lonesome" sound a heck of a lot to I was listening to! Is it possible she’s referring to this one from a 2 hour video??, This can’t be real!, let me read the comment again!. "lilacs make me lonesome for you", hmm let me rewind 2 minutes. Took two seconds to realize they perfectly matched. This lady just saved my day! And with that I thank you for being there at the perfect moment and time. :)
