Dude, I’m in shock right now. You’ve spent few minutes on some levels that I was walking through 30-60 minutes. You found such loopholes that even creators didn’t know about. Man, I’m so amazed right now!
Isn't it awesome? Most of the tricks here were discovered by people who came before me, couldn't believe my eyes when I saw what they'd done. I'll be uploading a new segmented Any% run soon that shows a theoretical 42:XX. Expect a bunch of brand new tricks. :)
dam bro , congratualtions for the world record !!!!! ahh ! yes my twinkie little twinkle twinkle childhood memories ! back then i always had one mission, quickly finish my school work and homework that teacher gave me, and quickly play this game and ask dad to give me the playstation 1 controller. ahh memories ! today am 25 years old.
I'm using the PC version, plus dgVoodoo to brighten up the colors. The PC version can run in HD/60fps, which is great, but for some reason the colors are really dark without dgVoodoo. You can find download links in the #resources channel in the discord server in the description. 👍
Did you just casually find a 27-second time save? Lmao that's amazing, I didn't realize you could run across from up there! That saves so much walking, you can just get the time clock after placing the lettuce and before rolling the boulder off. Awesome trick, thanks for pointing it out.
It's really unique. I love how they use gravity and shrinking/growing as parts of the puzzle, that was always really fun to me as a kid. But it's also the longest level in the game, and there are a lot of things that can go wrong. So I like it when I'm playing casually, but I kind of dread it during a speedrun. 😂 And thanks! I'd like to try 100% again now that we've made some improvements to the route, see if sub-hour is possible yet...
It has something to do with the HD sounds, the discord has a link to supposedly improve the game sound quality but it's been doing that ever since. I sometimes hear it with that screeching to a halt noise, too. 🤔 Been meaning to change it back to normal, cause yeah it's more annoying than helpful
@@ItsNumber84 ah, i see. also maybe this isnt necessarily a problem in the sheep raider speedrunning community in specifics but in some communities i know that using any sort of game mods (even if they don't alter gameplay at all) isn't allowed... but at least the CD quality music i don't see why prohibit it

@@LoudHouseCritic2018 There's even a newer route where you get to stop in the middle of the field and grab a sheep while his pathfinding gets confused. 😂 Funny stuff

His pathfinding is really consistent, so we're slowly finding ways to control him.

😂 I panicked. Sometimes Sam will leave you alone once you're inside the fence, and sometimes he just stays on you for a really long time. I'm still not sure why. I didn't want to break the lettuce chain and have the sheep run back to its spot, but getting caught by Sam wasn't much better...
Man I could have sworn there was a written riddle you had to answer to progress in level 10, that is where the game ended for my young dumbass. Maybe I'm misremembering.
@@slicethepietactical7237 I think this level ended a lot of kids' playthroughs, lol. I didn't have a memory card when I first got this game, so I left my PS1 on for DAYS trying to beat this level. The support group meets on Wednesdays if you ever need to talk. 😂

Apparently Aster used it in his original 100% run, but that video isn't available anymore so nobody had it as reference material. It was lost to time.

@@mats8985 I do, but Any% will probably always be my first priority. I'll want to get that WR back, then All Levels, and then I'll come back to 100%.

Yeah, the graphical and audio mods have been OK'd. Otherwise every run of the game would be washed-out and ugly, haha

Whats the diferece of get all time clocks and dont in a "normal" gameplay?
if i remember correctly if u dont get the time clock, the level is just "completed" and if u get it the level becomes "totally completed"

There's a riddle written on the sign that explains how to beat Gossamer, but it isn't very helpful. 😂
