- In today's travel vlog we are on day 2 of the Ha Giang Loop in Vietnam. We motorbike 150km to visit mountain tribes (known as Hmong people), visit unbelievable remote viewpoints, drink 'happy water' with the locals and of course there are more hiccups along the way!

Bike riders' paradise on earth. What a beautiful part of the world. Those kids are absolutely adorable. You are right about hiring a tour guide, I watched Paddy Doyle ride the Ha Giang Loop on his trek from Northern to Southern Vietnam and he did it solo and we didn't really get as good a coverage of it (stop offs) as you guys are providing. Wow! Just WOW! I have never thought that Northern Vietnam is soooo beautiful. The farthest ive been to VN is at Halong Bay area. I want to experience the same in the near future.

It’s truly unbelievable 🤩 you can’t even capture it fully on camera. Hahaha I know, I just assumed his tolerance is very high, he drinks it every night 🤣
@@SkyeSamuels I know it’s always better in person you’ve captured it well though those tiny roads with the cliffs actually made me queasy watching 😆 it’s normally hard to get on camera how tiny the roads are when driving.

I would suggest you guys buy some good waterproofs, ideally breathable ones as in warm wet areas you will generate lots of humidity.

Hey! I think so. For the most part it’s fine, there’s part of day 3 where the roads are really 💩 but I think you could do it!

Those kids really are adorable...but I wonder why they aren't in school instead of just hanging out there unless it's to make money off tourists. If that's the case, I hope school was out for the year or it was a holiday or weekend.

The Chinese don't fully understand English. For example, saying South China Sea causes the Chinese to think anything with the word China, belongs to them. However, the Chinese forgot that the Chinatown in San Francisco, US belongs to America, not China. Also, the Indian people are quite smart knowing the Indian Ocean never belongs to them. It instead just tells that the location of the ocean is next to their country, India 😁

Another sad scene: ethnic children instead of in school are hanging out at scenic stops. For what purpose? I don't know. I guess they try to earn a little meager money for their families. I really hope the Vietnamese government tries harder to help these really poor ethnic communities.
Maybe! I did ask some other kids about school because they spoke a little English and they said they have an English teacher 😀
they go to school for free The government has no right to force Other tourists who come to travel should not buy things or give money to children but it's fine to give candy and food
