We rushed over here as soon as we heard our ATEEZ teamed up with a group from Japan called BE:FIRST. This collab blew our minds - BE:FIRST CAN SING, RAP, AND DANCE! Both companies did an amazing job making this song work with 15 members.
We definitely need to check out more of BE:FIRST's music, because they on fireeeee! (And obviously, we don't even need to mention how awesome our boys ATEEZ are, right?) We are sooooo excited for both groups! :D

I was waiting for your reaction!!!! I'm a hard core ATINY and I didn't know about Befirst, they blew me away! They are all rounder multitalented kids with amazing vocals and dance skills! This is really THE COLLABORATION OF THE YEAR!! I don't think I have ever heard of this type of collaboration from 2 different countries and different agencies... The scale of this is AVANT-GARDE and Guinness record. The MV has so much to unpack. Very creative. Mindblowing collab!!!
They paired members together so PERFECTLY! The best collab I have heard. Equal exposure and both came out looking absolute fire.
I'm an Atiny. On first listen, the chorus absolutely grabbed me, but I had to sit with the rest of the song for a couple of listens to have it gel in my head. It's funny you mentioned NCT because I have to do that with a lot of NCT experimental tracks, too, so it definitely had that vibe for me. I really like it and it did make me start checking out Be:First music. As I said in another reaction vid, the production on this is so interesting to me for exactly th reasons you mentioned - it's unusual to have full group collabs, and they really did merge the Korean and Japanese production teams for this collab. I cannot recall ever seeing such a complete full group collab in kpop previously - usually I've seen partial groups, or one team is mainly in charge of the production, or they bring in outside producers for the project. This was really unusual, and I hope we see more collabs like this.
I am absolutely obsessed with this song, it’s a flawless collab, and a true collab too, which is rare. So good to see them actually working together.

The first person to say ”BE:FIRST “is Sota.Sota’s dance is crazy. Sota has won the world dance competition four times.
The collaboration between BE: FIRST and ATEEZ is amazing. This collaboration started when ATEEZ appeared at "D.U.N.K.Showcase n KYOCERA DOME OSAKA" by SKY-HI, the CEO of the company :BMSG that BE:FIRST is belong .
So Mingi and Hongoong performed rap collaboration songs with other groups ‘s rappers (including SKY-HI of CEO and rappers ,and BE:FIRST's Ryouki). I went to that live show, and it was so cool. It has been a long-standing dream of SKY-HI to interact like this beyond the boundaries of the group. I think it is might borders and genre barriers that ATEEZ is breaking in the video of this MV. " We don't need shields and spears. “ I guessed as if he was saying, "Just enjoy the music."
K-pop and J-pop are also losing barriers, so SKY-HI used to say that if he dare to classify it, he ‘ll call it A (Asian)-pop .

Great reaction. It’s been said and I agree that Ateez and Be First are so evenly matched that they could almost be the same group. Ateez management, Hong Joong and Mingi wrote the lyrics for the song. It’s like they wrote it specifically for Be First. Fun fact: Sota (the opening Be First member) was a backup dancer for Ateez at K-Con Japan in 2019.

@@i.kazu856 ATINY for life here and Ateez is really the only K-pop group that has grabbed me with their music style and voices. But now after hearing them with BE:FIRST I’m definitely going to have to take a look into more of their music. Their voices were amazing. This collab was just insanely good.

Hongjoong and Jongho sound like each other when singing, so it's not surprising that if one of BE:FIRST's members sound like one of them, they'd sound like the other one too.
Hong Joong many times already did Jongho high notes and lines. He covered Jongho when he was away after the surgery in concerts.

They are just 3 year old from Debut and quite similar background with ATEEZ. Both are debut from start-up entertainment management company, like JPY. HYBE, the same for BE:FIRST. SKY-HI, executive producer of this music is very famous rapper and CEO of the BMSG, developed in 5 years ago. So, the verse Shunto rapped "underdog" .ATEEZ is absolutely global artists with 6 year oversees career and BE:FIRST is just about to go for it. But BE:FIRST are making great success in Japan, representative, J-POP Boys Band.. SOTA gripping the train is a rapper and lead dancer, who won HipHop International dance competition for 4 times. Both group has the same views to be topper of the music scene being themselves, being unique (no one like them), and go beyond stereotype stuff, breaking through by their abilities. Please check their Mainstream and Masterplan. Masterplan is quite dope Japanese drill hiphop tune.
