I haven't fished it yet to give you a definite. I have it for my bigger frogs, heavier cover topwater. You could also use it as a jig rod. I feel like the actions for frogs and jigs are similar to drive them bigger hooks in. Depends on your preference as well, some people like a softer tip jig rod. I don't think it's too heavy though for jigs in the grass. I would use it for my heavier jigs. Its lightest rating is 5/8 by the time you put a trailer on the 3/8 jig depending, you are pretty much there. You could also step up in jig weight if need be. You would def have enough backbone and power to get them out of the grass that's for sure!
Expride rods are the best bang for the buck on the market
They are very hard to beat!
Man take that plastic off and enjoy the cork. Lol
lol, can't do it yet she's too pretty. I don't want to get it dirty. 🤣
@@Outdoord Lol. Just put some U-40 cork sealer on it. When it gets dirty, wipe it down.
@Twangtown7 it darkens the cork tho. 😅
This or the tournament pro bass from st croix …. It’s USA made with great warenteee these are made in China right ?
How's the 7'3 XH? Looking for jig rod. Is it too much rod to throw 3/8 oz jigs in heavier grass?
