Nice video. I have my own fancy door blocks with sizes and flip controls. The problem with using wipeouts is that certain methods of printing will print them all solid black, so you'll have these huge black squares where all the doors are.
Greatly helpful. Do you perhaps know how to create a dynamic block for sliding doors? I have tried and tried but cant seem to get the doors to stretch equally in the one direction.
hello, i was experiencing the same problem as you encountered. My solution was to set a coincident constraint where the swing of the arch meets the end of the door panel. That will allow it to stay attached to the frame. If you have any other questions let me know. I hope that helps.
thomas, couldnt thank you enough for how informative and crystal your video is. however, they're a bit different setting from your to mine to get the same effect.but it works well. now, i wonder if you could help me w/ how to do double swing door. i followed ur isntruction step by step but im kinda stuck on strecth parameter on step 3. i've changed the angle and try each different angle but it still wont work. any suggestion? really need your maestro advice
it is an amazing video and very clear, but I need to know how to change the angle of the opening door, for example if I need it to open 45 degree not 90dgree, what should I do?
i also apply flip action on the door, how to make the flip left to right work with the door after i change the scale of the door? up to down / down to up work just fine
Geat tutorial !!1 Thanks . However, when i try to attempt the same, the door swing doesnt remain attached to the frame and the door shutter when i stretch the block. Kindly suggest.
I´m trying to do the same but controlling the total width (including the frames) and the arc doest scale correctly even though I overrided the base point in the scale action associated with the linear parameter. Could you please help me?
Hello, I followed your tutorial and I had encountered a problem; the door panel not staying attached to the arch of the door swing. It was scaling in the opposite direction. Do you have any thoughts on what could be happening? Thank you

Great video. Can you show us how to do a double door dynamic block? I am really struggling to get that one right.
ME TOO
I like the pace of the flick. One item left for me...the wipeout does not seem to stay effective on hatch patterns. Is that normal?

Hi, Thomas, When I clik the Linear, and DONE select those two point, I can't see the arrows. could you tell me why? and How to make it Visible.
Why you people using a simple door? Why not using a professional door with handle and different material?
