I’m glad this was helpful. Yes you would be able to move the crossbar after the fact. You may need a second pair of hands to help hold things while you make the adjustments. By the time I had found my mistake , I felt with everything I had in there and how everything was place I decided just patching it up would be ok for me. Hello . This particular green house definitely did not keep any of the cold out. I do think , especially depending on where people live , that artificial heat such as a heater or some kind of temperature control unit would be beneficial. I did not want to spend any more money on this project, so I used it as is. I did lose a few plants and a few survived. Those plants that were well rooted and had been growing longer survived. Being new to gardening , these were some of the learning issues I worked with. I was surprised how much heat it retained during the summer but none during the winter.
