#03 Silent Vlog | Morning Routine, Birthday Joy & Finding Peace Amid Loss 🎂🌸

In this third episode of The Cicada Garden, I start my day with a quiet morning routine before getting the kids ready for school. ☀️👩‍👦‍👦 The peacefulness of the early hours helps me set the tone for the day. After the school run, I head to the garden to pick some fresh guava and prepare a healthy snack for lunch. 🍃🍈
Later, I find a quiet moment for myself, doing what helps me calm down and recharge. In the kitchen, I prepare steamed buns filled with sweet mango from our harvest - a delicious treat for my son’s birthday breakfast special request. For the celebration with his friends, I prepared a lovely red velvet cake with marshmallows and (Lacasitos) decoration, which I recycled for the next day's family celebration using sliced mango for a completely different look, a moist balanced flavor without having to make another cake 🎂🍴🎉
Despite the joy of the birthday, I also share a deeply emotional moment, reflecting on the recent loss of a dear friend.
This video is a reminder of the balance between joy and sorrow, and how we find peace in the little moments. 💛🌸
