@@maylovesmusic I happened to see her on stage yesterday. She did a solo show in Den Bosch (the Netherlands). Her first show in a long time...and mine too. It was magical!
She did a lot of muscle workout since then. Her arms and shoulders are much bigger today. The woman knows how to stay in shape, to keep blasting those high belts out.
With After Forever she used her classical side alot .....Tuomas wanted to hire Floor after Tarja was let go but She was so invested in After Forever. " Dreamflight " live at prog power is a great live performance by After Forever and its a high quality video.
@@maylovesmusic cant wait too see your reaction . You should listen to After Forever's catalog, i think youll love them especially the first 2 albums ......Floor is amazing .
I am a new member of the Nightwish army and am hoovering up everything Nightwish and Floor Jansen related.....Yes, I am an addict. Having been a lifelong Electric Light Orchestra (E.L.O.) fan I am loving the strings on this, something that E.L.O. are synonymous for going right back to the early 1970s. This is raw and I love it. Thank you for a great reaction. Floor is wonderful 🙏😊
This song is from the band's first phase. This is on the second album, Decipher (December 26, 2001. In this subgenre of metal, Decipher and Velvet Darkness They Fear from Norwegian band Theater of Tragedy have all the hallmarks of symphonic, doom and goth metal bands.). To positive reviews, with praise for its sound and more complex arrangements, raising the band's level even more in symphonic metal - a curiosity; Nightwish wasn't symphonic metal, it was a power metal band. Returning to After Forever, Decipher was the group's first work to include classical instruments and a choir - On the last track, "Forlorn Hope", there is an excerpt from the recording of the late Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin at the treaty signing ceremony peace on October 26, 1994. In this album there is a lot of Middle Eastern music influence (as you can hear in this react). Floor wrote the lyrics and her boyfriend co-wrote the song with Mark Jansen (Epica band). With Mark in the band we have symphonic metal along with Doom metal and something of death. With the departure of Mark (Floor and her boyfriend expelled Mark) the band starts the second phase, more prog and without Doom and Death metal. You will like Dreamflight live from the band's second phase. ua-cam.com/video/GBLke4zeZuI/v-deo.html
@@oliverdonder7616 I believe he was already out of the band by the time of this video. He left just before it. But yes, Mark founded Epica and carried on the bombastic sound of After Forever. In Epica.
Hey, just discovered your channel, pretty cool reviews about the NW records...in my opinion Once is the best album so looking forward to that one :) As for Floor, she has been always this good, incredibly talented...if you liked this one another great song from After Forever is Pledge of Allegiance #1
This isn't a venue but a television studio. Kopspijkers was a Dutch talk show. It was boring i.m.o., but the best thing was that they always ended with live music; and very often something relatively unknown. That's why the audience is sitting. I think this might have been the first time Floor was on television. This is totally not her audience, but she didn't seem to care.
Thanks so much for doing my request May. I really enjoyed your reaction :) Floor is so mesmerizing to watch on stage with her amazing vocals and alluring charisma. If you get a chance I would love for you to react to After Forever performing ´My choice` on De Muziekfabiek 2003. It starts in this clip at 20 seconds. ua-cam.com/video/3DKnHDAFZTU/v-deo.html All the best :)
Floor is always out standing, I hadnt heard that song so cheers. I would be keen for you to review ,A Million Light Years by Beyond the Black. A new band for me just listening to them today and really enjoying it. Here's the link. Cheers. ua-cam.com/video/b0uEnxMCxUE/v-deo.html
she is not just amazing, she is the queen of the stage and the goddess of music, there are hundreds of songs sung by her that show how amazing she is, one of the most suitable is to try to watch the Nightwish song "ghost love score "in the unsurpassed performance of the 2013 concert in Wacken, this and the others, all the others, of this epic concert are practically a point of no return.
I loved this style on her. She was absolutely gorgeous, iconic, the moment here. Can I just say I hate her styling in NW? It is atrocious, even comical at times. still love her as a singer and amazing person tho
Floor at 22 years old , she started in after forever at the age of 16. The godess born to be on stage. greetings from Portugal
Floor was 21 years old here. She joined this band at only 16 years old... Good things come fast!
She's the One... The gift to mankind.
Only 21 years old then....she was born to be on stage!

Yeah that would be awesome!
Maybe We should check The setlists From her Solo Concerts. She played some AFTER FOREVER songs as "Face Your Demons"
Ladato Si Ad Astra is the last line of Nightwish's Shoemaker
Floor Jansen is a versatile vocalist a the goddess of vocals.

She sang and created wonderful music in AF
She started in After Forever when she was 16 and they disbanded when she was 27
