I take mine with me everywhere when out in the bush, you never know when something can go wrong. I even take it with me when I’m by myself and have to change a tyre. You never know what may go wrong. Great video Mr GoldTalk. 👍👏
Totally agree Tony. You should never wander off anywhere in the bush without one. Anything can happen anytime. The bush skills I have learnt give me confidence to go bush and enable me to get out of alot of potential situations that may arise. Admittedly I learnt most of these these before PLBs were easily accessible. However if I was genuinely lost, or medical emergency mine or others I wouldn't hesitate setting off my PLB, they are cheap insurance and could very well save your life.

I agree with you totally. But it would appear the missing prospectors had no form of guidance. Don’t rely on knowing your way back without some form of gps guidance. It’s so easy to get disoriented. We don’t have the skill of the old timers who lived their lives in the bush.
Agreed totally Tony carry both plb and sat phone in the backpack sat plans as cheap as $16.5 a month in season and $7.5 off season I used the $30 plan with no cost on incoming calls. If you Twist an ankle and don’t want your emergency contacts getting the call and panicking when you press the little button.
Totally agree with you have a lot of questions how much for your course and when and where I won't ask where the gold is I'll ask where it isn't and I wish my wife loved me as much as yours love's your gold

It won't work if you fall down a shaft. Also wrap it in silver foil as they have been said to have accidentally activated from the detectors signals.
