Randomly came across your videos i guess cuz I watch Cantomando. How did Jared learn Canto? School? You teach him? I speak Mandarin (well chinglish lol) with my parents but my husband (caucasian) and I we speak English also with our daughter. So he only knows like hello and thank you lol.

Maybe show Jared a picture of the fish balls (or whatever you want him to cook) before you tell him how to cook the food. That way he might be able to more easily guess what you want him to make.
