I have seen these made from wood, which is super easy if you don't own a 3D printer but have some very basic woodworking tools. The wooden version is like a flat topped pyramid shape, roughly as wide as a tennis ball, and with two holes drilled to accommodate the tennis balls so that they will fit just less than halfway into the holes. Then a hole is drilled in the side to fit onto the KICKR leg. Regardless of what type you use I believe you will likely need to raise the front of the bike to maintain the original geometry.
Hey mate, thank you for the video. Just bought a Kickr Core after my Elite Direto died and I would love to have those as an addition, since I often do 20hrs per week on my trainer. Cheers
Hmm, simple yet brilliant idea. Makes me want to try to DIY it, with some car exhaust u-clamps, cut up inner tubes to protect the Core, and rubber feet. With a decent foam mat it should allow a decent amount of stable rocking.
I’m training for Majorca 312 next year so will be spending a ton of time on the trainer over the winter… these look like a perfect upgrade to get some flexibility and movement in the trainer. Put my name in for the draw id love to win a set of these!🤞🏻
@@carvilleweb i mean you feel a bit of movement sure, but its not an issue at all. But also depends a bit on youre technique i think. For me fine. But i am not a pro
you can also use them for the kickr, but the holes are actually to big. The way i did it was cutting stripes out of those 1cm vibration mats for washmachines and fold them around the v6 leg, that way they fit absolutely perfect and the kickr gets bigger side to side momentum. I also used 50% pressure reduce tennisballs which give more movement and worked better imo. 10$ material cost plus 5ish$ for balls absolutely worth a try
@@3dtecstudio i had to smack them in with a hammer. The wont fall off. They literallly will never get off again haha. (no its possible but they fit totally perfect that way lol)
@@xKillYourTVx lol, I also struggled to but mine on because it was also a tight fit and this thing is heavy ... but glad it works, do you have a comparison between kickr core & kickr move?
Wow, that’s amazing, Thanks for the video and the update. I just upgraded to the Kicker Core, didn’t want to spend the $$ for the one that moved. This is perfect! Don’t have a 3D printer…😢 Hopefully I have a chance to Win!
Man I got a kicker core in October and I'm def feeling that stiffness. I'd love to win and try out those badboys. Also have the same canyon bike but my tires are all black. Anyway great find and thanks for the tip.
Hi Christoph, quick question: how does the sprint feel, I tried putting two extra layers of cousining under the trainer and it felt nice for easier ride but for sprint was really uncomfortable and wobbly...?
Hi, so I think it feels much better than without the rockr feets. It feels from an engineering point of few much safer on the frame while sprinting. But I have no comparison to a wahoo kickr move for example.
Hi, and thanks for the video! I have been looking for reviews of these!! I have a Zwift hub and these are available for the square feet. One thing you didn't mention is what extra height the feet give? I was thinking of removing the front wheel ( I only have a small space) and then adding an upside down T as a front wheel stand. If I used a round oak dowel/handrail for the section onto the floor I could fit a couple of feet to finish it off. What is the outer diameter of the Core feet? Thanks!!
I have been holding off getting a rocker plate for my Kickr because of the cost so this is timely. For your print, did you use PLA? The etsy store shows "PLA 0.2mm layer height". If so, I did not think it would have been strong enough for this.
Hi thanks for your comment! I used PETG 0,24mm layerheight. 0,4mm nozzel. No chance to break it :D but i always dry my filaments before i print, this makes a huge difference for PETG.
Hello ! Big wave from belgium here ! amazing solution, i was wondering if it would still work well on a hard floor ? And if you do organize a giveaway i would be super tempted to test them out !!! big thanks
I bought similar product on AliExpress for about 20 euros, but mine are made in the injection molding process. Buyer beware - they have a big flaw - someone who designed the mold did not foresee the thermal shrinkage of the plastic material when it cools down after injection molding and therefore they are too tight and don't fit on the rubber ends of my Kickr Core. This makes them useless for me, at least until I will put a lot of elbow grease to increase the bores slightly by sanding them. And this plastic does not sand very well because it clogs the sandpaper very quickly 😕

I would love a set of these! Keen to see how they’ll enhance my indoor riding experience
Rocker plates seem like overkill. This looks functional and minimalist 👍🏼

These are great, but you need to elevate the front wheel to keep the bike level
I can't be the only one that gets physical pain from the squeaking of your chain!
Hey mate, thanks for the video. Just bought a Kickr Core and I am super hyped on this little addition.
Nice one! This upgrade is really nice :)
Hats off to Chris, who I think came up with the design. I hope he is getting something back for it.
Yes man! I would love to have a set!
Do you print something to raise the front wheel also? Or maybe use the Wahoo front wheel block? Would love a set of these!

Hello, awesome 🥰
would you say they would work for a zwift ride? or will the "fork" that is in the front not be able to stand flat then?
Love these, I think I need a set!
this looks really nice definetly need this for my kickr setup!

Great to see how it works. I would be happy to win it. Have nice X-mas time.
Just saw your video and would like to have those for my Kickr.. I guess its a new experience.
Richtig coole Sache. Das würde ich auch gerne benutzen. Danke für die Zusammenfassung!
Danke. Ich werde ein Set verlosen, ich halte euch am laufenden!
i got exactly these upgrade and its working pefectly. I sprint 1000+ Watts on them. No issues at all.
nice to hear!! i also find them really nice!
Does the bike not jump around? I've attached my kicker to a wooden board because it was jumping around so much in big sprints.

You are right they work well, But maybe there are also some adapters to fit them better on the kickr move, but if you managed to mount it its great :D

Eigentlich eine simple Idee, die glaube ich aber einen erheblichen Komfortgewinn ausmacht. Würde mich freuen, dass auch mal ausprobieren zu dürfen :)
I'd love to win these to upgrade my indoor riding!!🎉
Links fantastic, great video..would love a set
Seems pretty cool :D I would love a set.
Great stuff, I would also like them! Got a Wahoo Kickr Core after a clavicula fracture this spring...

Slt, super idée !
La même chose existe t elle pour le home trainer Elite Direto XR ?
these look great. Compact, simple, does not add lots of height, probpaby low cost compared....

Very interested as well
I would love to get one of them! Great content as usual.

Wäre perfekt für den RollenWinter
Great upgrade! I would love to get them :)
thanks :D I will get you on the list !!
Looks great. I'd like to get them

Do they have something like this for the Kickr V6?
Kickr V6 already has axis feet built in which accomplishes the same thing
Yeah really great idea. I need this but i dont wanna buy me a printer :-) Greetings vom Austria
These look great. Unfortunately not easily accessible where I live
How about Kickr Move?
Would love to try it as well. Where do you find them to buy as I don’t have a printer?
Maybe you can, I will do a little raffle but if you want to buy one, just search for "wahoo kickr core rockr feet" :)

Great tip, this alternative for a rockerplate. I would gladly join the giveaway! Would make my training a lot more comfortable!
Hahah those are nice! Shame i dont own or dont know anyone why owns a 3d printer
It is really Cool, but I guess a lot of power goes away with that
The Inside Ride E-flex platform with (or without) the front fork stand is a real improvement for home training with wahoo Kickr smart trainers.
Oh those look sweet! I'd love to fit them to my wahoo kickr core. As i dont own a 3d printer it would be really cool to win them 😊
Do these make the trainer quieter? Vibration dampening?
Hi, maybe a little but I think in general, the kickr core isn´t that loud, but the loudest is the chain moving I guess.
thats way too much bounce, just unrealistic
Those look great! I would love a set for my kickr core!
