  • My friend Matt stopped by the Drome for a couple days. During his stay we Vlogged his Scottish Aviation Bulldog. This aircraft flew with the Swedish Air Force and then has been placed into the general aviation market. This video cover many parts of the preflight and a good overview of the flying portion.

Curious about that turn coordinator. Says 2 min, but would that actually give you a rate 1 turn in the Bulldog, or rate 2?

Ok I said something like this: "It´s fun to see an old Swedish cart. Has it been flying in Ljungbyhed". Ljungbyhed is a small town in Sweden where all combat pilots received their undergraduate education until 1997. One of the aircraft that was flying was Bulldog called Sk61 in Sweden.

British not Scottish hence the name Bulldog. The Scottish reference is just the name of a British registered company. Scotland always tries to stand separate from the Union except when concerns money.

"Scottish Aviation" is the name of the company which produced the Bulldog. 🤦‍♂️
