I have already been starting to collect content for the Yukon Guide and hope to deliver the new Guide right after the new update is released. Thank you for your patience!
Marlin ultralight Sig cloak and rapid bolt 3 is good for people who either don't like warp logging or like to do a little trolling. All you got to do is fly away from the anom you are at to edge of space and the sig cloak will hide you from pirates. You won't need tractor because it's fast enough to just fly to the ores and the recharge won't even be done.
Update: Tractor TURRETS can now lock on by pressing F on an ore, which allows slightly more automated collection. There are also Strip Miners and Precision miners. Which one you use is up to prefrence.
This is a good guide, I did not know about how probing in a square is the most efficient way to probe and how probing can be done while warping for maximum safety. This will make mining a little bit less stressful for me. edit: Also I am not sure but I thought the mako class miner was pronounced alike how someone might say a Mako shark. Like May Koe
I’ve seen a lot of people say that the Yukon is terrible. I personally haven’t used or purchased a Yukon yet. Why do you think they say it is bad? Looks pretty good to me.
It’s worth it. If u wild mine with it you can make large profits and possibly craft items that players want on a large scale. Just bring lightburner or ancient lightburner to avoid pirates with 2 or 3 flaks to fight off interceptors. Strip miners on Yukon are very fast at getting you ore
Do circles instead of squares, you don't find anomalies at the corners anyway so why not use the shape that covers the most area with the least perimeter?
Well we don’t need to spend money on getting expensive upgrades like tractor beam and the rapid bolt upgrade (sometimes) which can be nice when you start out I’m thinking of starting a new account and I can’t wait to play the new update on it best of lucky to me
@@Pathfinding Thank you! I'm not quite sure, but if you mine out a ore deposit anomaly, then it will disappear and spawn elsewhere? Or will the ores inside of it respawn?
I know it’s better to find AN’s but is there any way better to find blue Narcor or anywhere it would spawn in a safe secure system I lost my Ozark because of it lol
By the time you're done looking for Narcor in secure (which only spawn in ATs in very rare cases), you're done mining for a destroyer in wild (probably. don't take me up for that). Just warp log when you see a player that's not tagged green or blue regardless of the situation and you won't die.
I understand the whole argument that you can warplog and therefore it's better to use the otter line than the marlin line. But the real threat isn't having a player join, it's warping to a system and there being a player already there.
As long as you log out before you’re physically there, you’re fine, so if you see a player name while you’re in the warp tunnel you can still log out for a while unscathed. This is the mechanic behind all warp log traps in Gatinsir and Aerelret - hope that helped.
When I try to go to outer systems my ship always takes too long to start and my shield goes down to 10% while trying to fly out of a system with bot ships. (no pirates) Is there a way to escape from system efficient without getting destroyed?
Hence patcher nanobots are suggested upgrades, repairs your hull if drones damage you. However, if you warp out immediately upon entering the system the drones won’t hit you before you warp out.
@@Pathfinding That very good about you have a Yukon, soon im to get a Yukon now im mining at deep wild space im need 2-3 k reknite, 150-200 axnit, 250-300 narcor and 230 red narcor. And today im lost a Kodiak and now mining with a Honey Badger.
A beginner’s guide is planned as the next video - unless I have a route available a hauling tutorial won’t be for some time. However, I will aim to get it out ASAP.
Log off while you are warping to another system makes it so your ship doesn't show up and hence cannot be attacked - the clip in the video are the only viable times where you can warp log, else you risk your ship still being around.

There are a lot of issues with the Yukon though for anybody reading this considering buying one. Let me explain. Many of the problems come from the fact that the Kodiak is around a quarter to a third of the price of a Yukon, and the Yukon doesn't mine much faster. -If you multibox in any capacity to mine, the Yukon is completely not worth buying at all seeing as buying 2 Kodiaks to multibox will mine much faster than 1 Yukon, and you can buy 3-4 Kodiaks for the same price as 1 Yukon making it completely irrelevant to purchase. -If you had approximately 1.2 million credits(average market value of a Yukon and average price of all the materials required added up together) or the raw materials needed to make the Yukon, and you already had a Kodiak you were mining with, you would hurt yourself buying a Yukon. Think about it like this: if you bought the Yukon, you wouldn't be mining to recover the original materials/credits you spent to get a Yukon. You would be mining to recover the base price of the Yukon that you spent to get one, IN ADDITION to the amount of materials/credits you could have gotten using your Kodiak in the same amount of time spent mining that you were using your Yukon. *If two people with the same amount of credits and materials played the game and mined with Kodiaks, but one of them built/bought a Yukon and the other kept mining with a Kodiak, and they both mined for the same amount of time every day, it would take OVER A MONTH of mining multiple hours a day, EVERY day, for the Yukon user to catch up to the wealth of the Kodiak user.* Now of course there is a way the Yukon CAN be worth buying for a solo player that doesn't multibox, assuming they wouldn't put in an ungodly amount of time and dedication to mining, but it's purely about luck. A Kodiak can't mine Vexnium without a high risk of dying unless it is protected by other players with frigates or destroyers. Most solo players who are unable to get assistance in mining Vexnium simply aren't able to get any, and have to pass up VX anomalies. The Yukon however has lots more health than the Kodiak and much better combat capability. With enough time and effort, along with a high tier Hull Booster upgrade, a Yukon can mine Vexnium anomalies by itself without help by tanking hits while it mines using its large healthpool and or attempting to kill the powerful guardian ships that spawn when you mine Vexnium so it can mine in peace. Do to the incredibly high value of Vexnium, a Yukon can be worth buying *IF* the player who builds a Yukon manages to find and completely mine out several Vexnium Anomalies using their Yukon solo and were unable to find assistance from other players with their Kodiak before. TL;DR The Yukon is only worth getting if you -are willing to mine for hours a day every day for over a month to make up for its base cost + how much profit you would have made if you kept using a Kodiak mining for the same amount of time -can't/don't multibox OR -get lucky and find a ton of Vexnium in a short period of time -were unable to get assistance from other players mining Vexnium beforehand and couldn't do it on your own until you bought the Yukon
Your comment about the Yukon is mostly valid when it comes to why it's not worth it if you cannot multibox, which is why I stated it's a worthy investment if you cannot multibox efficiently. With regards to your comment about purchasing a Yukon for a large sum of credits, you can actually reduce that number further down to some 1.08m - which is only 10% off your amount. However, doing some basic calculations knowing that a Yukon is 50% faster than a Kodiak, you can put in the following calculations where an efficient miner can mine up to 600 ore per 30 minutes (MT mining time), so the Yukon can mine an extra 600 ore per hour of mining - equivalent to 10 ore per minute extra. There's no reason for a Yukon miner to stay in secure as it can simply warp log, hence using the below calculations from an average mining trip assuming only pristine ore are mined we can calculate the net gains over the Kodiak using numbers of today's market: 10,000 KOR - 100K (16.7 hours) 8,000 REK - 90K (13.3 hours) 6,000 GEL - 150K (10 hours) 4,000 AXN - 300K (7 hours) 2,000 BN - 160K (3.3 hours) 500 RN - 80K (0.8 hours) WARP TIME - (4 hours) Using the above calculations on a standard [extended] mining run, the Yukon can generate about 880k in credits worth of extra ore in merely 55 hours, and accounting for possible VX you find, you can potentially make everything back in ~60 hours. Not to mention you can simply repackage the Yukon and sell it whenever you need it since it is an asset after all. There can arguably be a statement against how Yukons can even be more efficient over multiboxing Kodiaks since Kodiaks can only mine normal KOR, REK and GEL and the occasional AX and BN in Contested whilst also losing 30% of it's mining efficiency lost to normal miner turrets, whereas a wild mining Yukon can simply mine pristine ore, use it's tractor beam more efficiently and more valuable ore more commonly. You can make the argument that you can multibox in wild, however, the risk of not being able to warp log all the ships at once can be too great. Factoring all these numbers in you have the following multipliers: Yukon Base Efficiency over Kodiaks: 1.5x Yukon Mining Pristines: 2x Yukon Tractor Efficiency: 1.43x (1/0.7) Ore Value: 1.2x Hence, the Yukon can generate profits up to 5.2x more than a multiboxing Kodiak. Again, you can also repackage your Yukon at any given moment, so unless you sell it, you make a net gain in profit. I hope these calculations have helped with your decision.

TL;DR
The Yukon is only worth getting if you
-are willing to mine for hours a day every day for over a month to make up for its base cost + how much profit you would have made if you kept using a Kodiak mining for the same amount of time
-can't/don't multibox
OR
-get lucky and find a ton of Vexnium in a short period of time

There's no reason for a Yukon miner to stay in secure as it can simply warp log, hence using the below calculations from an average mining trip assuming only pristine ore are mined we can calculate the net gains over the Kodiak using numbers of today's market:
10,000 KOR - 100K (16.7 hours)
8,000 REK - 90K (13.3 hours)
6,000 GEL - 150K (10 hours)
4,000 AXN - 300K (7 hours)
2,000 BN - 160K (3.3 hours)
500 RN - 80K (0.8 hours)
WARP TIME - (4 hours)
Using the above calculations on a standard [extended] mining run, the Yukon can generate about 880k in credits worth of extra ore in merely 55 hours, and accounting for possible VX you find, you can potentially make everything back in ~60 hours. Not to mention you can simply repackage the Yukon and sell it whenever you need it since it is an asset after all.

You can make the argument that you can multibox in wild, however, the risk of not being able to warp log all the ships at once can be too great. Factoring all these numbers in you have the following multipliers:
Yukon Base Efficiency over Kodiaks: 1.5x
Yukon Mining Pristines: 2x
Yukon Tractor Efficiency: 1.43x (1/0.7)
Ore Value: 1.2x
Hence, the Yukon can generate profits up to 5.2x more than a multiboxing Kodiak.
Again, you can also repackage your Yukon at any given moment, so unless you sell it, you make a net gain in profit. I hope these calculations have helped with your decision.
