Another great lesson nikola am stuck on this i must say with the picking intro bit i cant decide if i want to use the big f chord for that bit or use the shorter version you show off there but ive had a go with thumb over the top bit and find it tricky to get my fingers neat and play it right not easy one to do that way thats for sure even though looks a simple song riff to do such a classic but liked how you added in slane castle solo version in it as well deffo on the list to do 😍👏🤟🎸
I would recommend trying the thumb over the top way as someone who’s been playing this song for years it feels the most natural for me and is what I naturally gravitate to. Plus it’s really good practise for using the thumb over technique that you’ll see a lot in frusciante and Hendrix riffs! It is hard to get but practice makes perfect (good luck!!)
